The City decides it really likes snow. So, let it snow!

On Valentine's Day this year, Cupid is going to come have a visit. Only, as things often do in The City, things are going to go a little wrong. Instead of Cupid hitting couples with arrows, he's going to be hitting random people.

What does this mean for you? That if you sign up, your character is going to be randomly paired with another one. It might be somebody who your character might not be attracted to at all normally.

It doesn't mean they have to physically act on it, of course. They might even be aware that it's out of character for them. Or illegal (underage, cats, etc) But they are going to find themselves inexplicably drawn to the person. Want to be around them. Want to do things for them. So on.

So if you're interested in this, sign up here. You'll have until the 13th to sign up. Then a week and a half (Feb 25th) to get a post up for it. You can, of course, do more than one, and intermingle with other "couples", have your pair split up, but pining for one another. But there has to be at least one post with the designated pair.

Hello everybody! My name is Chelle and some of you already know me, but for everyone else: Pleased to meet you! I'm a 23-year-old Canadian student with about ten years of online RPing behind me. I like baking, knitting, comic books, human biology, bugs, and dyeing my hair weird colours. I'm very low-key and I can be a little bit blunt but I always mean well, I keep strange hours, and I pretty much always forget to take my away messages down. It's really very sad, but I can't seem to break the habit, so I hope it won't stop you from swinging past to say hello at some point. I promise I don't bite.

As for my character, this here is Zatanna Zatara of DC fame, and she'll be joining your kids in The City. My version of her is a little different from comic canon, since I sort of mashed together all the different canons available for her, picking and choosing what I wanted to keep or toss, and then made up a whole lot of stuff to fill in the (massive) gaps. For instance, you'll notice that now she's actually got a history prior to hitting her 20s -- gasp! shock! -- since canon never saw fit to tell us much of anything about her life before her magic career. Which is pretty cool for me because I do so always enjoy making shit up out of whole cloth. ;)
