Its very possible Sam has completely lost his mind.

I can't be sure unless I look and I know how people feel about me doing that without permission. Since one can assume he's not in any fit state to give that permission sensibly which of you would count as next of kin in this case and could you go ahead and allow it.

I might even be able to fix it if I can figure out what's wrong

You can look. I mean, for now, don't... do anything, until we know what's going on, okay? But you can look. Just... try not to poke around in his memories too much. Unless you have to, I mean. I don't think he'd want anyone seeing them - kid's kinda private, sometimes.
