Where, exactly, does the line fall between joining a friend for outings and dating? What does one do on a date? And how do you know if you're on one?

	If "it" is the fluttery feeling in your gut, then yeah. Yeah, that part is harder to tell. Honestly? Telling her, and then asking how she feels is the only way to know for sure. I don't know about whether there's only one or what, but I do believe that there are certain people that are just destined to be together. But that doesn't mean you can't have something meaningful with someone who's not your match, because that's part of figuring it out. Like, my ex-wife, she wasn't the one, but I did love her and we had a good thing for a while, I think. Does that make sense?

Okay, this is based on some of what I know, some of what I've read. Bearing in mind that I know nothing about this kind of thing, it's not like Jacen and I are even really in a relationship in the conventional sense.

Flowers. Women like flowers. Go for a quality bunch without going crazily overboard. Classy, you know? And maybe something that speaks to who she is. Does she have a favorite author? A good edition of a book she loves might be an idea. Or tickets to a show. That's the kind of thing only you can work out, you know her.
