	They both get away with it, Lex. As much as we may talk about hating him, we wouldn't actually go after Klaus unless he was an active threat. I don't hate Klaus. He scares the actual hell out of me and what he did to Stefan back home was disgusting. I think he's vile, but it takes a lot for me to hate.

Damon...he used my own trust against me, made me believe I was helping him only to spit it back in my face and lock me in the sunlight, he couldn't know I'd surrvive that.

Then he killed me. On his brother's birthday, my best friend.

As part of a plan to keep the existance of vampires safe. Poisoned me with vervain, let them shoot at me and then staked me himself to look like the hero.

We forgive a lot here Rose, and honestly, any one of the four could become a threat given the right incentive. I adore Rebekah, and Elijah's the Original of my line, he's always been there for me. But family comes first to them, always has, always will

I don't expect you to forgive him, Lexi. Not ever. But you do have to live and let live with him. And know that threats against you won't be tolerated even if he isn't an Original.

I didn't ask for that truce just to lose one of my favourite people in Lawrence. And at the time, the two of you were peacefully coexisting.

Even if it was, you think that makes a difference? That I should give him a chance when really, he's no better than Klaus is. People just always seem more willing to give Damon more of a chance, because what, he's got prettier eyes or something? I mean yes, he is prettier than Klaus and has much better cheekbones and can really dance when he wants to, but in terms of personality? They're exactly the same. Exactly.
