I think I sort of left you out of the loop on this one, Caroline, unless Nik told you. Sorry about that, wasn't intentional, promise.

Anyway, he's doing it. Castiel's going to go through with the sigils. His need not to give Lucifer anything he might want to play with outweighs his hatred of Crowley. He's not burning them into my bones though, so there's that? .com

[Elijah & Caroline]
You know, I was almost considering coming home for a bit at least. You can thank Nik for throwing that possibility out.

[Bekah]
And just when I thought Nik was trying to be progressive, he's gone and reminded me why I'm not at home all over again.

Remember, awesome demon powers of keeping everyone apart. Telekinesis, very useful.

Urgh, brooding? Brooding makes me want to scratch eyes out.

Stop reminding me. It only makes me want to tempt you to abuse that and okay, neither I or you would have an issue with that but Elijah would sulk and there's enough family bullshit going on now.

Yes, brooding. Also all the general "team good guy" qualities. He's far more interesting as a ripper, but, well, Bekah would pout.

And if he sulked too much, he might go through with the woodchipper threat.

Is he like an earnest puppy? An overgrown puppy that needs to be smacked on the nose?

Which would be disappointing. I've said it before... I like this you. Adjusting to a new you would take time and, okay, I have all of the time ever, but still, it's not preferable.

The ripper side? Mmm more like an attack dog bent on having fun in the cruelest and most demented of ways. Like I said, fun. Normal Stefan, though, makes my sister happy and the ripper...well, he wouldn't care much at all. Then I'd have to kill him. And that would hurt and upset Bekah. ...it's all very complicated and convoluted and I basically have to deal with the broody regardless.

Even if I could have my pick of hosts? Pick a movie star, any movie star, there's a good chance I'll own their soul anyway, could hitch a ride in their body.

Ah. So kind of along the lines of me putting up with the Moose because he makes Ruby happy?

Still be weird.

Something like that, yeah.

Castiel is worried about us pulling some sort of power play, by the way. Says we'll only be another problem to handle. I'm slightly amused.

So romantic, darling.

Awww, does he think we'll be the Brangelina of evil?! That's adorable.

If you say so.

I thought you might like that. He also managed to hit on something I worry abou It was an interesting tidbit. He was rather intent on not having the argument again. I wasn't aware we were arguing in the first place (what does that say about he arguments I normally have?!) and I'm assuming he's talking about Sam and Ruby? He seems real miffed about the whole idea. It's kind of bizarre, that reaction coming from someone who doesn't know me at all, really.

Ah, but which of us is Brad and which is Angie?

Oh he had a hissy fit when he showed up and found out about Sam and Ruby. And he's spent pretty much all his time here telling anyone who would listen that we're nefarious and wrong and not to be trusted. Not to mention his rant about the baby. Which was pretty sick, even by my standards, Emily's a baby, she's not going to up and end the world on us all.

So, what, did he tell you how I'm a bad bad man who will turn on you and torture you or something?

How d'ya even determine that sort of thing?

Well, all right, demons, angel, speaking out against you probably is a given or whatever. Kind of like Gilbert taking every chance he can to rant about my family, the bloody hypocrite. But...there was a rant about the baby? Really?

Something like that, yeah. He was on about how if I was really trying to avoid Hell, I was going about it all wrong. I pointed out you weren't going to drag me down and toss me on the rack or something and he got all nostalgic about being betrayed by brothers he thought he knew. Which, honestly, who knows more about familial betrayal but I wasn't going down that line of conversation with him.

Draw straws? Rock/paper/scissors?

Technically, Emily has incredible power. Like, could alter the world on a whim power. She's half demon, half human. So clearly, Ruby did this whole falling in love with the Moose thing in order to get knocked up and spawn a little antichrist and take over the world. If you listen to Cassie. Emily's not even two, and I swear a few months back he was talking like he wanted to kill her before she became a danger.

Well, from a certain point of view, you are going the wrong way about it for avoiding the rack. Lucifer would use you against me. But I'm really not going to drag you down to Hell. Why would I? Even aside from the whole not-not caring about you thing, what would I ever have to gain from it?

You'd cheat. I could ask Caroline. She'd be amused.

Well, yeah, but...she's all ickle. That seems like a rather involved sort of plan for anyone, honestly. Take quite the dedication. And massive manipulation. I'm tired just thinking of it.

Okay, yes, but he's more in the you-turning-on-me line of thought. The power you said could come from a soul like mine?

She would laugh. A lot.

well, technically Ruby did have a giant plan and If Emily's raised right, she'll use that power for good stuff, it's that simple. And will probably be very boring, admittedly, but whatever.

Your soul does have a lot of power to it, I won't claim otherwise. But I'm not going to turn on you. I can get any power I want from other places.

She would. She really, really would.

I don't care what she does, as long as she doesn't get bent on ending the world.

Exactly.

She is dubiously evil.

Unlikely, she's more likely to get obsessed with having a puppy.

Don't let him get to you.

She"ll really be fun in a decade or two.

At least it's a goal!

He's not.
