	I shouldn't have gone back. Klaus had wanted me to stay over again. I'd been over all week. If I had just stayed then I would've been alive and this whole thing wouldn't have blown up. Its ridiculous. Its all so pointless and yeah maybe we live forever but who knows if we'll be here long and god why can't we just be a family? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

But we're not doing anything as a family. Maybe there's arguing and fighting and I know that's part of being a family but any of us could be sent home and any minute and is it worth it? Does any of it even matter then?

Everyone is so worried about being right, about getting listened to, about getting their point across and having the other see their side, that its all a gigantic mess and its not getting any better. If anything you're all getting further away from one another and that's making it even worse.

You think I like this, caroline? Spending my time dividing my attention between everyone, trying to figure out how to fix this? Trying to convince myself to just suck it up and go home anyway? You get sent back and you get sent back to your life. And maybe you remember everything from this place and you could change things. Or maybe you forget it. But you go back to your life. What do I go back to, Caroline? I hate it. I hate it so much but this...it can't just be swept under the rug.
