I used to. Until I realised there's a reason for all of this, maybe mine is to make amends for everything I've done. I don't apologise for all of it but there are some sins I cannot be forgiven. This place, it means a chance.

And no I don't know how a lot of the new things work beyond the basics but we're not the only ones out of time. We have a purpose here.

And if nothing else, here, you have her. And that had better be a positive to you.

I spent a long time hating you. Most of my life. I blamed you for what happened back then.

And then I just hated everything, England, the absentee King, everything you had that I had taken away from me.

There was one thing in my life that was light and good and she was yours too.

I'm trying to take this chance. I like to think I made my peace with you back in Nottingham. For you though it will take longer

I'm sorry for that, for the time you and she should have had. But you have it here.

But people did try to change it, people fought me, fought Vaisey, they just never had the ability to fight until you gave them a voice. Until you became that figurehead. And you did that for them. I'm not going to pretend I cared for the masses, you know as well as I do it would be a lie, but by the end I believe I'd done something good.

Maybe it does still happen, maybe it always will, but there are people that will fight.

Your french friends found their own war, that King later in time than us, countless examples.

You made a difference.
