Oh my god the craziest fucking thing just happened you have no fucking idea. Okay so I've got this bird feeder thing on my balcony, right? Well there was a dove or something there, having some lunch or whatever, and I'm going about my business and all of a fucking sudden I hear this big BANG, something hitting the window over the balcony. So I go look and the dove is gone and I'm looking around and there's something in the tree across from me and I take a closer look and it's a hawk, sitting in the tree, looking kinda dazed. I'm pretty sure Mr. Hawk hit the window trying to get some lunch of his own. And after a minute or so, he flies off, so he's fine.

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!

I don't see the pigeon anywhere, so I go downstairs and check and I see the pigeon sitting on the sidewalk under where my place is, right? And he's also looking slightly stunned, and lets face it, you would be too after a brush with death by hawk. And this FUCKING CAT that's been hanging around Piffy's complex (and seems to have a crush on Sylvia, my cat, cause he keeps staring at her through the windows and shit) is slinking over to him so I start yelling at the cat trying to scare it off and he doesn't even twitch. And he goes and fucking grabs the dove and so I start chasing after him, so I can like try and separate them and shit, and finally the cat drops the bird and the bird flies off across the street to another tree and the cat runs off.

So yeah, that was my day so far. I don't know if that was a sign of the Apocalypse, animals getting all cracked out, or just animals being animals. But that was some crazy shit.
