I've spent the better part of my night in an emergency room being prodding at by a doctor who thinks I'm a lunatic. My visit only got better when I found out that apparently, I don't exist in Kansas, which means that my insurance doesn't exist. I can't call anybody because their numbers are out of order and I only stumbled across this message board out of pure, stupid luck. Needless to say, my evening is not going well.

I need answers. I need somebody to tell me what's going on. At this point, I have no idea what you want. So please tell me so I can ~~not~~ give it to you before somebody throws me in a padded room.

But since I am, you're right, they do need someone to look out for them, and that's what Batman and the others do...but not every 'bad dad' is violent and hurt people, and those are the ones I mean. If we were talking about those who do kill, hurt, harm, then they deserve what they get...just as I did. I don't fault ~~Dick~~ Batman for hitting me when he did, I was hurting people, trying to hurt him. He was stopping me.

But I do fault him when he attacks with violence, a simple thief who hasn't hurt someone, and sometimes he does. Though I can understand, sort of why...they're desperate and attack him...I just think there should be a better way.

I shouldn't have even brought it up anyway. Just old memories stirred up lately as I think of home. I miss a lot of people I knew there and thinking of them makes me think of their lives and problems. It's not Bruce's fault, or Dick's, or anyone else's and I shouldn't poke at them with it.

Now I got a question for you, kid. ...why are you nice to me, knowing who I am? What I've done? I'm not related to you, so why bother?
