Filtered against "baddies", Lucifer? Internet savvy demons?
I've spent the better part of my night in an emergency room being prodding at by a doctor who thinks I'm a lunatic. My visit only got better when I found out that apparently, I don't exist in Kansas, which means that my insurance doesn't exist. I can't call anybody because their numbers are out of order and I only stumbled across this message board out of pure, stupid luck. Needless to say, my evening is not going well.

I need answers. I need somebody to tell me what's going on. At this point, I have no idea what you want. So please tell me so I can ~~not~~ give it to you before somebody throws me in a padded room.

Actually, nope. It's Lucifer as in the Devil has broken his way out of Hell. And we're here cause his way out included demons breaking a whole bunch of Biblical seals and one of them was the barrier between dimensions and stuff like that. So. We're both stuck in an alternate dimension.

So, you know how sometimes you put on a cape and pointy ears and go all "I AM THE NIGHT!" at bad guys? I do that, too.

Get to [complex address] ASAP. Those demons I mentioned? They're kinda swarming the city right now and you don't have the proper protection or training to handle them. The address is for a complex for the displaced people like us, it's the safest place in the city. If you want I can swing by and get you. It'd be quicker and safer that way, but since you're you and you don't know me yet, I'd get it if you didn't quite trust me that far.

So you're not Bruce Wayne then? You don't wear a mask and fight crime under the codename Batman? And you don't have a butler/confidant named Alfred that makes awesome waffles?

	Walking out the door right now probably isn't a very good idea. See, I'm currently under the influence of some really effective pain meds, and if what you say is true, I don't want to rush headfirst into a swarm of demons while I can't even walk in a straight line. Do you know Tim yet? Because I used to spend a lot of time hanging out with him back when he was your sidekick. And for a while he quit and you made me your sidekick. So I spent some time at the Manor and in the Cave. But now I'm less sidekick and more off doing my own thing, but also with Bat at the beginning of my codename. Instead of it ending with "man" though, it ends with "girl." Because duh.
