I know we've had a handful of new arrivals since I last brought this up. If anyone here is interested in theater work of any sort, be it performing, writing and composing, management, or backstage work like set building, costumes, makeup, etc., I'm leading a group of performers. We're still in planning stages, and we could really use more help, especially for behind the scenes work.

Magic-users, we specifically need some help from you. Zatanna was going to help us with glamours so that we wouldn't attract too much attention for having celebrity facetwins. With her gone, we'll need someone else to help us out.

Hey everyone. Meant to send this over the weekend, but... well. Shit happened, obviously. To those of you who've lost friends, my sincerest condolences.

We're now down at least a couple of members of our already tiny group. Zatanna's gone, and Oliver, who was going to sponsor us, but they're the only ones I know for certain. I've seen a few of you popping up on the boards. Others, not so much. Please respond to this so we know who all is still here. [EDIT] Maureen is gone as well. And possibly Rachel - love, if you are here, speak up![/edit]

On a more positive note, Marguerite and I went looking around for a venue last weekend, and we've found a few places we could try renting out. I know a couple of you have money to spare thanks to the Seal or wish-baubles or what the fuck ever. I'm not going to demand any one person pays for the whole thing, but whatever you can contribute would be much appreciated.

We need to figure out what sort of show we're going to put on. I believe someone suggested a cabaret style show, the last time we met up? Anyone have other ideas, come talk to me.

	I'm willing to help out with the money part. It's not really an issue for me. What sorts of acts are there going to be? Because if part of it is a play or something along those lines a cabaret style show might not be the easiest. Perhaps rotating nights in that case? By all mean, throw ideas out there. This is meant to be a group project.

I know that we have mostly singers, dancers, and actors. I myself am a stage illusionist. So really, it's kind of a balancing act, whatever we end up doing will preferably have something that everyone could do. Fuck if we get someone who could write it, we could do our own musical and incorporate my magic into it.

Good to know then. I know that around here people tend to think other people throwing out ideas to be like they're going around stepping on toes, and I would actually prefer to avoid that.

That would actually be somewhat fantastic. Admittedly, I'm not as much of a writer as I am a performer, but if we could find someone around here for that it would be perfect. There has to be a writer around here somewhere.

I'm sure there must be. Help me keep and eye out on the boards? Or maybe ask around? ...Theoretically, I could write it. I have before. Except, that was for my show back home and A) it focuses around the magic, and B) it's wonderfully, ridiculously camp, which I know isn't exactly everyone's cup of tea.

	I did not see Rachel at the casting meeting yesterday for A Little Night Music even though she had been given a part but I do not know if she was sent back for decided it was not the role she wanted and thus did not show up. Beyond that, I am fine with whatever the group decides and will have a better idea on my availability once a rehearsal schedule is made. (Reply to this) (Thread)
