Okay guys. I didn't really do this part yesterday what with the whole HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THIS thing going through my brain, so I figured better slightly late than never, right?

My name is Stephanie Brown. I'm 19 and a fighter/psudo-detective, but I hear that there's already lots of fighters around but one more can't hurt, right? And I don't mean I go out looking to cause trouble or anything like that, I just do the whole standing-up-for-the-right-thing thing. And I've been doing that since I was 14.

Oh, and I'm from Gotham City.

So, once my brain settles some more I'm going to want to help around here somehow. I hear we're in a bit of an Apocalypse situation and, you know, hopefully that can be stopped.

PS: And since my life story is on the internet anyway, I might as well point out that I'm Batgirl. It's so weird being able to tell people that...

No, no one ever showed me that. The jerks. Long conversations with people and not a word about that. Or demons in general. Or amulets. I had a billion people telling me about Moriarty though. (Or like... three.) That's pretty major stuff to leave out, huh?

Sounds like stuff worth looking into though. I mean, I've spent forever training anyway, trying to learn new tricks and get better so I don't like... almost die again, which sucked by the way, so this seems like a pretty good option.

I'm not a kid though! Okay, yeah, I'm youngish, but I've been in the fighting business for over a quarter of my life. And hey, I don't mind finding out what I'm doing first. I usually don't, at least. And considering I've never faced off with a demon? I'm willing to learn. So :P

The amulet protects against demonic possession. You're also going to want to get some vervain, which will protect against vampire compulsion. I have some I can give you.

Almost dying sucks, I won't deny that. But here? There are probably worse things than can happen. Which is why you do lessons first and work your way up to patrols. You'll want to get in touch with the Winchesters for that - Sam and Dean. They're locals, not displaced people like us, and they've been here pretty much since the start.

But this place gets insane, and people are getting hurt. I'd rather not see it happen to anyone else. That guy Moriarty? Just kidnapped a dozen people and strapped them into bomb vests. And shortly before that, he killed a woman, one of ours, cut out her heart, and sent it to the complex in an icebox. Before that, some Greek god got pissed off and decided to make all the taps in the city run blood. and that happened in the middle of an invasion of murderous plastic mannequins directed by the last big bad. And all the whole time all that is going on, Lucifer is running around with his army of demons. So don't underestimate the dangers here.

I'm already at the complex, so that angle is covered! No need to hit anyone.

Get/wear an amulet. Got it. I'll definitely be doing that one since I'm not in a hurry to get possessed by anything. And you told me about the vervain stuff, I'm going to have to get that from you soon.

I haven't heard of them yet, but I haven't been here long so that totally makes sense. I'll track them down soon.

I'm not trying to underestimate anything! I'm just from Gotham, and back home you try to be prepared for anything. I didn't know about a lot of the stuff that's going on here, no one told me about it. And most people wouldn't expect a city like this to be nearly as nutso as Gotham City is. But, it sounds like it's right up there with it after all. Thanks for the worry though. Seriously.

	Good. It's really not safe to be out right now. You can swing by my flat and pick some up if you want. I'm in 302. Yeah, that's part of what makes this place so crazy, is that it's the last place you'd expect something like this to be going on. And you don't need to thank me.
