filtered against evil
Between catching up on all the history I have missed as well as trying to research the apocalypse, I found something called "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare" and have read some of the sonnets and plays. I think it fascinating how much he was able to write and the different genres but some of it seems far fetched, even for fiction.

"Never was there a tale of such woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo"

Apparently this is one of his more famous works and is a tragedy as the two title characters died. I just do not see how dying because of a rash decision is tragic? They said it was love but the entire plot takes place in a week. The meeting and marriage I a day...

I have nothing against romance and love stories but this seemed more a story on things not thought out and is then described as a love story for all times.

Three hundred years of servitude that will only lengthen for every tear she cries because of a bad kid. And she doesn't even get the prince in the end.

At least Disney let her have a happy ending, but the original source material is depressing.

That does sound depressing... and from what I have read, Disney gives a more positive ending to many fairy tales.

They tend to, yeah. The songs they make for their movies are pretty good.

I am going to back out of this conversation and just say--type--that you're right and it's not a good idea to pass judgement on other's lives. And most likely the author didn't have her story correct.

No apology? Humans Mmm. I wouldn't know, my story is still unfinished. You couldn't even tell the difference between Clark with glasses and Clark without glasses, but you don't hear me saying

I wasn't aware that there was an--well, you around--but I guess that happens with people apparently being fictitious in different universes or however that works so I am sorry if I offended you by not appreciating your story. Well, a version of it. I kind of know that I'm not quite what the various versions say I am so I'm sure you're different than what yours might be.

But no, bowing out of this convo because I really think I am just going to dig myself a bigger whole with my mouth, but I am sorry for offending you.

[ooc: sorry I so did not see that Ariel had replied back]

I don't care if you appreciate my story; you were rude. That was what was offensive.

But
Fine. That's probably best for both of us.

[ooc: No worries! OMG we need to introduce Lois to like Peeta or Andy or something...she's striking out with my girls and that means I can't play with you and that's so sad! :( ]

Alright. Have a good day. Me and my big mouth.

[ooc: We'll figure it out! I think her and Kim did okay that first time, but I'll look out for their posts!]
