You're right, there's really no way to make them stop the worrying. You?

Well, okay....neutral might be good...

The thing is that the other, evil, version of Loki....when he put me in the sleep it was full of nightmares. They never stopped. It was one into the next one. And I remember hearing my kid's voice and it was a small comfort in moments, but I just can't stop seeing the stuff from the nightmares. And I'm afraid to sleep. And I don't blame Loki, I love him, but the nightmares have him in them in lots of different ways. And he can take them away 'cause magic and all, but it makes me nervous. And I just don't know what to do. I don't want him to run away or anything 'cause he feels bad.

No matter how much you may with you can, you really cannot.

Nightmares are tricky because there are so many different types. There are the types that are not rooted in anything and are just terrifying but those are not the type to leave a lingering feeling. Then there are the ones rooted in something that has happened, memories, especially if you never dealt with them.

Then there are the ones that are pulling something from within. Fears, insecurities. They can be conscious or subconscious.

The best thing I can suggest is to try and find the root of what is causing them. The magic clearly kept you trapped and brought them to the surface, but if they are the manifestation of something within you, if you can pinpoint that and try to work on it, that may help.

It is good that you are able to recognize the difference between the Loki that was here who decided that it was a good idea to have innocent people blown up and the one that is normal. That is something some may not be able to look past, the fear of someone they love doing that to them, even knowing that it was not their normal self. As for the magic aspect.... it is a possibility, but it could just be a short term fix even if it was his magic that did it if the nightmares truly are rooted in something within that needs to be addressed and worked through.
