In all seriousness though, I was talking with Tenel Ka and we thought it might be a good idea if we made some kind of security alert system for the boards. That way whenever a certain level of threat hits the area, we can warn people in just a few words. I think the warnings will have to be established as a whole, so I was hoping that maybe you guys could help me out with that? For example...

GREEN ALERT - Everything is fine. There's no threat. Lawrence is safe. ~~We'll never use this one.~~

What do you guys think? If it's something we wanna go with, maybe we could put in some general safety to do stuff for severe alerts too.

Also - the code thing sounds like a pretty good idea, to me. ~~It's still kinda weird that we have enough people to need one, but~~

Didn't someone set up some kinda emergency mass-texting thing at one point? Could maybe make use of that, as a way to put the word about whatever color we're at - since a lot of people don't check their computers super often, probably. So everyone could just get a text that was like RED ALERT and then they can get their asses somewhere safer where they can check the boards and get more details on what's going on.

Emergency mass texting could work, definitely. I think it's something we should use. Problem is, we can't guarantee that everyone has a phone to use or that the new arrivals will be in contact with everyone if they stumble onto the boards during a high alert.

Though the further explanation thing on the boards does guarantee that they'll find out if they seek out help that way, so that works.
