Filtered Against Evil
There comes a time in every man's life when a number of his traveling companions gather in one place, and he realizes he has a terrible habit of picking up women.

Honestly, you'd think the Seal would have snatched up the Brigadier or Jamie or Jack or even Mickey Mick Mickey. Why is it only aiming for the women in my life? Well, except for the Master, but that's different. Not that I mind. It's brilliant, seeing everyone, but really, you'd think I'd spent the last seven hundred years combing all of space and time for a date.

Oh, that's a good point, plus you hang out with humans a lot anyway, huh?

No...I'm just a curious person. Inquiring minds and all that.

...shut up.

In my experience with human women, they tend to tell me to shut up when I'm right.

You think you're pretty smart, now, huh, Doctor? :P

It really was just curiosity though... And Clark, but who's counting?

Time Lord. Of course I'm smart. Can't help it.

In all seriousness, yes, there are some cultural differences, but I like to think they add to the experience rather than get in the way.

Is it ever, like, awkward, though...? That cultural gap? How can I position this without getting the same look from you that I got from h
...by shutting your friggen mouth and not asking

Sometimes, but aren't there awkward moments in any relationship, especially a romantic one?

Not in mine...
Not until this one
I've never had to ask a boyfriend if he'd rip me in two when we

I guess. But there's probably a difference in the plane of awkwardness, I'd think...I mean, right?

Well, maybe a bit. If it helps, you can think of it as two people from different countries trying to get on. I know a lot about Earth and humans and Britain in particular, but I'm not British, so there are things I'm going to miss. Rose knows a lot about me, and probably more about Gallifrey than most humans, but every now and then, I'm going to do something that makes perfect sense to a Time Lord, but might not make so much sense to a human.

That's not actually a bad way of putting it, come to think of it. That makes more sense to me, I guess. Only I'm pretty sure there are some things your analogy doesn't quite That latter bit was what I meant, really, though. But it's not so bad?
