Filtered Against Evil
There comes a time in every man's life when a number of his traveling companions gather in one place, and he realizes he has a terrible habit of picking up women.

Honestly, you'd think the Seal would have snatched up the Brigadier or Jamie or Jack or even Mickey Mick Mickey. Why is it only aiming for the women in my life? Well, except for the Master, but that's different. Not that I mind. It's brilliant, seeing everyone, but really, you'd think I'd spent the last seven hundred years combing all of space and time for a date.

Oh, there's plenty, but luckily for me, I've met some brilliant people who are willing to forgive all of that ... or most of it, anyway.

I mean, I've watched the show so I know, I guess, what you mean but...Death is always waiting for you, so why not have a friggen blast if you're already constantly tempting It just by being alive? I'd give anything to go.

I didn't just mean that, but yes, I do think it's better to go out and meet the universe instead of waiting for it to come to you.

I bet you've seen so much more cool stuff than what I've seen on your show...I can't even begin to fathom. And yeah, exactly, that's what I meant.

Nine hundred years of time and space. Be a bit tricky to fit it all into forty years of BBC television, even with all the tie-in media.

Doesn't mean it's all worth watching, though. Really, there's plenty that I don't think is terribly interesting at all. I'd rather watch human lives instead. You do so much with the time you have. It's brilliant.

I don't know, maybe that's a "grass is greener" sort of thing, because I think we're pretty boring and stupid, as a general populous, but it might just be me being in a mood because I'm in East Bumblefuck, right now, surrounded by people that probably mate with their siblings...

Every species has its less-than-stellar representatives, but for the most part, humans are fairly impressive.

How is the middle of nowhere working out for you? Bit quieter?

Yes, very much. I haven't had a vision since I left. Though, I'd like to think that that's Nate's mojo workin' on me, because that would mean I can come back to Lawrence and still be okay.

There's a fairly simple way to find out.

Yes, well, I'm not entirely sure I'm ready just yet to take the chance if it really is just the tiny population that's quieted the beast.

Plus Nate's kinda cute, not gonna lie
Yeah...it's been really nice not seeing all of those awful things every day, honestly...I'm a little nervous about coming back but I can't stay here forever; I'll go nuts. lol
