Why: IDEK the muse realized she was freaking the hell out a little more than I thought she was and instead of just chillaxing in my brain for a bit she was like LET ME SPIT WORDS AT YOU. WRITE THEM, BITCH. So.
Warnings: Language, zombie-related violent imagery, and possibly might make people with trauma/ptsd/etc things sad/crankyfaced, because Kat isn't exactly PC about her own issues.

( The fact that it refused to go away even though she knew it wasn't even a thing meant that she was obviously a lunatic. She knew all this already. She knew she had to just.... stop. being. crazy. But it was kinda easier said than done. )

( Things were moved, things were gone, new things were here. Kat wandered through it silently, feeling out of place - like she was drifting through, like a ghost. Maybe she was a ghost. There were guns on the counter. She didn’t think this was right. It couldn’t be real. Someone else must live here, now, because she’s a ghost and there are guns on the counter and she should apologize for intruding, but she doesn’t know if she can speak, if she’d remember how. The door isn’t locked, and she decides it won’t hurt to lock it, slides the chain across the door and backs away from it slowly, biting her lip, wrapping her arms around herself. It doesn’t feel any safer. )

( Her first thought was that she was still dreaming. She had to be - she was far too comfortable for this to be reality. She was on a proper mattress, with pillows and blankets that actually smelled clean, and she was curled up next to someone, which... okay, that part was a little weird, but she could hear breathing, steady breathing, no gasping useless attempts at sucking air in through a broken set of pipes, and that meant it was probably not an undead freak who has his arms around her, so, fine. Whatever. )

When? About an hour before Spain's sunrise. I am too lazy for timezones.
Why? Because reasons. She wouldn't let me not write it?

So, basically this means John, Simon & River, Piffy, and Lois all get visitations from a teleporty Kat, who just sorta looks around to make sure they're not dead and then leaves. Juuuust makin' sure you're not dead, dudes.

Rating: Highish. Kat thinks she's a zombie, there's mention of face-eating & etc. and then theoretically suicidalish tendencies because irrational Kat is irrational and thinks she's a zombie, k? Also swearing.

( When had she last eaten? Everything made her sick, now, everything reminded her of flesh, of her dreams of ripping people apart and eating them - her stomach lurched, and she wasn't sure if it was revulsion or hunger. )

( Kat rose to her feet shakily, stripping off her sweater, letting the blood-soaked garment fall on the nearby table, instead of dropping it on the carpet (not that it would matter, soon, she'd be dead and why should she care about carpet? But then, maybe Epiphany would want to offer the place to someone else, wouldn't be easy if there were bloodstains everywhere), and ran the kitchen tap water over the bite on her arm. )
