Where: a club in Lawrence
When: tonight
Warnings: well vampires feeding on humans for one and I will so update this as the log progresses
To say that Caroline was feeling nervous was a pretty damn big understatement. Part of it was nerves, fear that she would hurt someone--kill someone--and that was something she definitely did not want to do. She also knew that continuing to stay away from ever feeding on humans, to keep going as long as she had without doing so, was going to come back and bite her in the ass eventually. How was she supposed to gain any kind of control over it if she didn’t ever do it?
She knew she couldn’t rely on blood bags forever--not that it wouldn’t stop being her main source of feeding--but there would definitely come a time when she wouldn’t be able to have access to blood bags and while she could feed from animals it wasn’t exactly the best nourishment. And if it went on long enough it might end up snapping her control in half, something she wasn’t about to let happen.
So Caroline had decided to accept the idea of Klaus helping her learn how to do it properly. She truly did trust that he wouldn’t let her fall, he wouldn’t let her needlessly kill anyone. She trusted him with all of her being which in itself was a damn scary prospect but one that she couldn’t deny. Plus it got him to finally go with needing to tell Henrik about everything that had happened to his family, about what all of his siblings had become and that was something she knew needed to happen. No matter how much they all seemed to want to put it off.
Caroline’s body throbbed to the music of the club, watching the dancers on the floor grind up against one another, those at the bar taking shots, drinking various types of alcohol, and she couldn’t help but smile. Even if her stomach was doing that damn annoying twisty thing. She linked her fingers with Klaus’, turning to look at him.
“So...where do we start, oh wise one?”
