Marian slipped a few pins in her hair to hold the curls back from her face, running her hands down her cheeks as she dropped her hands to her sides. She could barely sleep all night, the excitement getting a bit too much for her. Then obviously the morning sickness decided it was best to drive her crazy and not let her enjoy her time cuddling in bed with Robin. She stared into the bathroom mirror, her skin still a little pale from this morning's symptoms, but she was starting to get more colour in her cheeks. Dropping her hand to the smallest of bumps on her stomach, she tilted her head at her reflection and smiled.

"First picture today, baby. I'm sure you'll look your best."

She couldn't stop the grin on her face as she pushed herself away from the sink and out of the bathroom, moving straight to the living room and grinning at Robin. Wait, he still had a bowl of cereal? Was he trying to kill her. Slipping her feet into her comfortable flats, she picked up a pillow and aimed a throw at him.

"Will you hurry up, we can't  be late!" Though he would know she wasn't angry or anything with him, she was just excited and wanted to get going now. Plus it was slightly annoying to see him eat so much when all she could get down that morning was a slice of toast. Grabbing her bag, she put everything she would need for the possibility of shopping after into it before hooking her jacket over her arm. She wouldn't need it until they left anyway. "Come on then."

She'd been in her office. Recently she'd been spending perhaps too much time in there, if only because there was so much going on that she needed time to clear her head. She couldn't say it was too quiet, but for her the Master was being too quiet. One would think this would be a good thing, but no... it translated to her as him planning something - expecially since he had seemingly dropped off the grid. Despite the notes she was taking, she was pulled from her thoughts and her office as she heard someone calling out to her.

She checked the time and it was later than she'd initially thought! She rushed into the main area and found Robin and Marian standing there waiting. She had to smile. Pregnancies were something she enjoyed. "Marian, Robin," she smiled at them - pushing her personal concerns aside. She walked over and held out her hand. "Glad to see both of you," she exhaled excitedly. "Are you both ready?"

She smiled when she saw Martha leave her office, wishing she had knocked there first rather than yelling out. But the other woman didn't seem to mind too much, almost seemed quite happy actually. Well that was good, it was something at least. She was glad that they had changed the doctor who was to look after her to Martha, she was more trustworthy. She knew the complex had different ways of protecting the people inside and if she couldn't trust Martha it would be easy to tell.

"It's good to see you," Marian said as she took her hand briefly before letting it fall to her side. "I think we are, yes."

She would be lying if she said she wasn't nervous. She wish she had read more on this process, but she already knew a fair bit as it was. She looked to Robin, waiting to see if he was okay, before glancing to Martha once more.

"What do you need me to do?"

Robin was not used to feeling in the way, or as though he did not belong. And, while he knew and was glad that he was supposed to be part of this whole process-- not something that would be true in their own time,-- he was actually feeling a little awkward. Trying to fight past that, he smiled as he shook Martha's hand. "Ready," he confirmed, glancing at Marian. She seemed a little nervous, which again was not normal.

That actually put his mind at ease. Of course, they were both out of their element; this was new for both of them. Placing a hand lightly at the small of Marian's back, he waited to hear what was next.
