Robin was not used to feeling in the way, or as though he did not belong. And, while he knew and was glad that he was supposed to be part of this whole process-- not something that would be true in their own time,-- he was actually feeling a little awkward. Trying to fight past that, he smiled as he shook Martha's hand. "Ready," he confirmed, glancing at Marian. She seemed a little nervous, which again was not normal.
That actually put his mind at ease. Of course, they were both out of their element; this was new for both of them. Placing a hand lightly at the small of Marian's back, he waited to hear what was next.
