Life changed in 1930 for every wizard and witch in London. Gellert Grindelwald killed Albus Dumbledore on a muggle street and rose to power. Nothing is like it should be. It wasn't long before Grindelwald extended his power to the muggle world as well as the magical world. Halfbloods, muggleborns, and even muggles live in fear. Breaking boundaries and rewriting old laws, he controlled everything he could see. Unhappy with just that, he stretched his power, spanning countries.

The Class of the Chrysanthemum rose early against the dark dictator, only to be broken into factions when their leader, Cassiopeia Black, met her untimely death at the end of Grindelwald's wand. Still the Class of the Chrysanthemum fought on in factions, not knowing who to trust.

It's war, but no one seems to know it.

Set seventy years after his initial take over in 2000, the new millennium, some people still hold hope for the future, but some have given up entirely.

X-PROJECT: AN X-MEN MOVIEVERSE RPG

Status: NEW MUTANT - AVAILABLE FOR APPLICATIONS.

The new school year is upon us and X-Project needs students, ages 14-17! We have a number of previously played socks and NPCs available or we'd welcome new youngsters to begin at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.

Plenty of gaming opportunities exist, from the New Mutants training team to groups such as the Red Cross initiative Red X. NGO, Elpis and the mutant-human coexistence group HeliX. Or there's just the wacky hijinks that happen when you have a house full of super-powered teenagers living with a superhero team in the basement.

X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 5, 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. Be it classic superhero adventures, high school drama, dark and gritty spy games or interpersonal relationships, X-Project caters to everyone.

X-Project is currently focusing our advertising towards filling some of our unplayed characters and available NPCs. We will still look at applications for new characters, but our preference is for applications for socks. To help give you an idea of each character's history, we have a series of "cards" for each available character/NPC.

It has been a year since seal number thirty was destroyed. Since then, dozens of people from different universes - good and evil alike - have poured through the cracks in the universes that the seal created, dropping straight into the world that Lilith so eagerly sought to destroy. Those brought through the seal proved to be nothing short of a challenge for Lilith, but with a clever plan already set into motion, Lilith managed to trick one of the Winchester brothers into breaking the final seal. In doing so, Lilith was killed; Lucifer, however, was freed from his cage for the first time in thousands of years. With nothing more than vengeance set in his heart against God and all of humanity, Lucifer began to work. War would no longer be coming; with Lucifer up top and his apocalypse well on the way, it is finally here.

In the spring of 1998 the trio were captured in Malfoy Manor where fate would dictate they escape with the assistance of Dobby the House Elf. However, fate did not go according to the plan. In the last second the elf was killed leaving the trio to the mercy of You Know Who. With Potter captured the path was clear to the Ministry and after numerous show trials, in July, the Death Eaters took over completely. It is a plot that could fit into many games, but there is one difference- it is not the Dark Lord that rules but a Dark Lady, there was not a boy who lived but a Girl Who Lived, the greatest Headmaster that lived was actually a Headmistress and it was her father’s love not her mother’s love that allowed the Girl Who Lived to survive.

Enter a world where the outcome of the war has not just been turned on its head, but every character’s gender.

Welcome to Tiberius J. Swann
Imagine a world in which supernatural beings are real. They are born and raised just like humans, sometimes amongst humans, unbeknown to the world around them. But how do these beings remain under the radar? How can they possess these great talents, and sometimes great hindrances, without exposing themselves to the world? Through knowledge, through education, just like the humans of the world.

The Tiberius J. Swann Detention Facility opened its doors in October of 1997. It was the very first Supernatural Educational Facility and Haven that was ever opened in plain sight of the public eye, though there are many others. It was named for the man who founded the facility, Tiberius J. Swann, who believed that everyone deserved the benefit of an education that would give them the opportunity to live a normal life. Throughout the years, the school has undergone many changes as well as many trials and tribulations, but the school remains strong even today.

New semester starts soon, as well as a new community-wide plot. It's the perfect time for new characters to join. We are in need of more students as well as staff.

Welcome to Midian Asylum
The year is 2015. After the dawn of the 21st century saw a resurgence of violence and terrorism the likes the world had never seen, there was a public outcry for change, a demand made that those who society saw as a danger to them be dealt with. Desperate for a quick solution, the United States has yet again turned to asylums for an answer to their problems. Methods and practices which were once considered archaic and barbaric yet again became common place. And along with it came the rebirth of Midian Asylum.

Midian is a desolate and dreary place. By those that have been unfortunate enough to spend time here, it has been described as the loneliest place on Earth. They say that if you were sane when you arrived, you won't stay that way for long. And it is here that you have been abandoned.

The Green Life Community is a place created with the goal of 'greener' living. The residents come from all walks of life, each one brought into this community to live a relatively free, cooperative life of health and innovation.

To all appearances, Green Life is the perfect place to live; safe, prosperous, and with an almost none-existent carbon footprint. But appearances can be deceiving. There is more to Green Life than meets the eye. Something more dangerous and off-balance than anyone could have imagined.

In the coming months, the residents of the Green Life Community are going to learn that rules can go from simple to suffocating and a trusted leader can in reality be a fanatical dictator. Something bright, clean, and perfect in the beginning can turn twisted and dark in the blink of an eye.

Musings

Musings has always existed, a world alongside our world.

In Musings, people live the way we do, eat the same food we do, love the same way we do, and work the same minimum wage jobs we do. The differences? They all have their roots in fictional characters, and they are immortal.

Though they are not the characters themselves, they carry in them the essences of characters from fiction. The sources that they spring from do not exist for them, but they are based on fiction we are familiar with all the same - though no one has ever read a Batman comic, there is a rich young man who uses his money to fight the forces of evil that destroyed his life. Though Moby Dick was never written, a sailor still stalks the bars of a town on the sea, watching, waiting.

Now, a portal has opened between the world of Musings and the mortal world, and the Creations (as they call themselves) have begun crossing over in droves. Now, they have abilities that they did not have in their own world, abilities that they can choose to do with what they will. There is no great prescribed fate for these echoes of fiction, only the destinies they choose to weave for themselves - living and losing on the shores of a new world.

Holds Application Cast FAQ Everything Else!

In 2023, the first Wizard University was opened in Ipswich, England. Offering an alternative to traditional internships, the school was a welcome relief to places such as St Mungos and Professional Quidditch Teams, where applicants far exceeded the vacancies. One year later the school is thriving with nine offered subjects, co-ed fraternities, street games, and Quidditch tournaments. Gossip and rumours, pranks, and day-to-day mishaps make college life anything but boring. Just mind the occasional streaker.

WMU is a next generation Harry Potter game set at university. With a focus on character development, good storylines, and both friendships and relationships between characters, we’ve gone back to basics that make role play fun. We encourage good writing, journaling, threading, and our players to simply relax and have fun.
