Imagine, if you will, a magical village that’s unplottable, inescapable, and inexplicable. No one knows how they found themselves in this village, but what they soon find out is that almost all aspects of life in this village are controlled by Rita Skeeter. She knows your deepest, darkest secret -- the one you would never reveal to a single soul -- and if you refuse to play by her rules, she has promised to expose you. What’s more? Your secret will be revealed and you will never be able to return to the time and place you left. There will be only one escape: death.

Though your leisure time will be your own, you must live and work where she tells you. She will assign you an occupation, a place to live, and grant you a reasonable allowance to begin your new life in Lockewood Village.

The additional twist? Individuals from all times may be transported to Lockewood Village at any point in their life. Their presence will not affect the outcomes of the main timeline. Tom Riddle’s presence will not remove Lord Voldemort or prevent the First or Second Wars. New relationships may be flourish, but they will not prevent anyone from being married or born. Lockewood Village exists on a whole separate plane of reality.

	The Divide is a brand new multi-canon Marvel/DC/Independent Universe hybrid game following an AU branch of the Marvel Civil War series, set two months after the death of Captain America. During their attempt to prevent the creation of a new prison to hold dissenters in an alternate dimension, those opposed to the Super-human Registration Act have caused a tear in reality itself. This rift has displaced an as of yet unknown number of people- heroes, villains and civillians alike, ripping people from their own worlds and leaving them disorientated and confused. The game is set three weeks after the creation of the rift. Several Marvel characters have already returned to the world from being pulled into this tear in reality, along with many new faces from other realities suddenly finding themselves stranded in the Marvel world. Accepting applications for all comic characters! Open characters include: Wolverine, Superman, Hulk, and many, many more. Game will open once we have ten characters taken.

Welcome to your new home. Set in crime-ridden Dark City Treno, dominated by alcohol, drugs and weapons, this place is constantly immersed in a perpetual state of darkness. Clouds loom overhead, occasionally it rains, hardly ever do the citizens see light. Same goes with the nature of the business which goes on behind doors. What may seem like a friendly floral shop masks a drug ring, and what you may think is just a quaint pub you're walking into could be the locale meeting spot for weapons dealers. Thugs, thieves, drug lords, and criminals of the underworld tend to be attracted to the dark environment the city offers. Along with despair there is hope. A few individuals fight against the masses, trying to bring good and order back into the city. Though with the dreary forecast constantly imposing on the innocent civilians, the fight is predicted to be endless and futile.

Will you fight against the overwhelming corruption threatening to take over this already desolate city or join among its ranks?

*You wake up to the smell of smoke.* When the bombs dropped in early 2008, it was expected that the virus would be eradicated. After all, nothing could survive the devastation of nuclear power. Nothing could possibly crawl up from the wreckage of a twisted land. That was how the United Nations justified their choice to Quarantine and abandon the United States of America – Canada and Mexico closed their borders, and the bomb was dropped. The virus burned hard under the nuclear autumn that followed, but it did not die. Nothing could stop the creatures that came out of the wasted hole of the Midwest – the Infected lived to hunt. Nothing could stop them. Or so it seemed to the rest of the world. *You wake up to lull of voices.* Seemingly abandoned by the rest of the world, the few who had sustained the blast began to band together. They found a common goal: Survive. Live, but not at any cost. To carry on with humanity intact, that was the only possible hope for the future of the Remaining States of America. Brought together under a vivacious leader, people crossed the country at great peril to come to New York, to live in the Salisbury Hotel. Safety was found in numbers, after all. And for a time, they lived in peace. Those who knew to fight, trained others. Those who could gather and hunt, they shared their skills. Gardens grew. The Infection was kept at bay. Hope for a cure began to whisper its way through the Compound. Caravans appeared on their last legs, praying for safe haven. But the seemingly idyllic landscape was bound to erupt again. Every version of the story is different. The conversations, the tiny details; they're all told in their own way, with different twists and turns and points delivered to properly execute the tale. The story has changed over time, repeatedly leading those belonging to different cultures with opposing beliefs clashing over the subject for hundreds upon hundreds of years. In the end, however, the story never really matters. It's the name, the significance, the idea of what he represents that strikes nothing short of pure terror into the heart of man.

Lucifer. The fallen.

As the angels tell it, it was his refusal to bow to humanity that brought on his fate. He believed that the angels were better, finding God's favoritism toward the mortal beings that walked the earth to be nothing short of distasteful. In turn, Lucifer chose to rebel by wickedly twisting a human into a demon. Rather than bringing forth the change in order as he had hoped, Lucifer instead found himself being punished by God for his disobedience. Delivered from the heavens, Lucifer was forced into a new home - a seemingly impenetrable cage trapped within the fiery depths of Hell. Six hundred seals bound Lucifer to his cage. Six hundred. Only sixty-six, if done correctly, would be required to break in order to free Lucifer from damnation.

Thousands of years later, as prophesied, a righteous man shed blood in Hell. Against the torment that found him in the pits, Dean Winchester began to crumble. The very first seal was quick to follow, breaking the pathway to all others like it open to those who sought to free the fallen from his chains at last. Demons began to rise up, led by Lilith - Lucifer's First, the very human that he twisted into a demonic form that brought forth his own downfall - to break the seals. At the same time, perhaps the first in thousands of years, angels too began to route themselves toward the seals to oppose any and all who dared attempt to destroy them. A silent battle, unknown to most of humanity, waged on between the angels and demons.

In the middle of it all, stood two brothers. Each with a role to play, both with the best of intentions at heart. With the angels pushing at one side and a demon guiding the other, the Winchester brothers, too, fought against the demons, steadily gunning their way toward Lilith. The Winchesters were key players in the struggle between Heaven and Hell. That had been anticipated from the beginning. What no one expected was for the impossible to occur: while bordering a little ways short of the halfway point, Lilith destroyed the thirtieth seal and, upon doing so, unknowingly shattered a barrier between worlds.

Soon afterward, people from those worlds began to appear out of thin air.

wariscoming is a Panfandom RPG that takes place within the universe of the Supernatural fandom. The game is based on the story arc of the fourth season, post all of the events that have occurred after episode twelve (Criss Angel Is A Douchebag).

You do not need to have an extensive knowledge of the Supernatural to join, so long as you take a moment to check out the FAQS to gain a better understanding on how things work in game!

C A S T A W A Y E D (SLASH ISLAND GAME)

C O N C E P T

International Flight 457 was a private plane set aside specifically for a specified college program. There were 224 passengers and 14 crew members aboard the plane when it took off from London, England. 200 of them were students ranging from 17 years of age to 20 years old, and 20 were chaperons plus 4 university and college officials that were to accompany the students on their trip. All of them originally signed up for what was supposed to be an opportunity of a lifetime. Students arrived from all over the world in order to join this program that was sponsored by two highly accredited schools, Kingston College and Chesterfield University.

The program was meant for college-bound students 17+ through Running Start (sponsored by Kingston specifically) and for college freshmen and sophomores who would still be twenty-years-old by August 1. The program was for college credit, and while it cost a hefty sum, a limited amount of scholarships were available for those with extenuating circumstances or an excellent academic record. A full scholarship was only rewarded to one student who fit both criteria. The students didn’t even have to be from the USA; students from other countries were allowed to and even encouraged to apply!

However, midway through the flight, the engine stalled. Of the 200 students, only 50 managed to survive. Of the 38 adults, none made it out alive. The dead included family, relatives, friends, significant others, and siblings of those who managed to survive. Now, 49 boys are stranded on this island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. What's the likelihood of rescue? What's the likelihood of survival? Wanna (find out?)

In the year 2010 the world was plagued by the full effect of Global Warming. No country was spared and no one could imagine the speed in which it came. Within months entire cities were underwater, drier than deserts, or completely leveled. Thousands died and there was no end in sight. Many lost hope until 2020 when the Eden Project was founded.

The Eden Project was a last ditch effort by the human race. Surviving scientists came up with a chemical, a gas called 'Eden' that would hopefully cool the atmosphere enough to put a stop to the catastrophes happening around the world. Slowly but surely the temperature began to drop and the storms slowed. In the time between the beginning of the storms to the launch of the Eden Project, the world population had dropped from nearly seven billion to a little below five.

It was another six years before the effect of the 'Eden' chemical was known.

It began in 2028. There were suddenly less children being born and by the end of 2029, pregnancies stopped all together. The men and women of the world were now completely sterile. It was soon discovered that the Eden chemical was the cause of the sterilization, that the one thing that had saved the world had also doomed it to an inevitable ending, the population destined to dwindle down to nothing.

The same lab that developed the Eden project has been working for the past nineteen years to reverse the devastating effects without destroying the now near perfect atmosphere of Earth. The Fruitful project was a serum, a cure that reversed the sterilization but only in people below the age of thirty.

The Global Government is taking a drastic step to increase the population. The Governments of the world began to administer the serum by administering it to everyone as a vaccine at doctor's appointments. To further insure that the population will continue to grow and to 'usher in a new era of life', a global law has been put into place. A marriage law. The Fruitful Law.

Every healthy, non-married person between the ages of nineteen and twenty-nine are to be married, whether by choice or by Government selection. The couple will have a one year period at the most after their marriage to conceive.

The Fruitful project is for the betterment of our world. Who will be your match?

The year is 1525, King Henry VIII is on the throne of England, Catherine of Aragon is Queen, and the religion of the land is Catholisim. It is a time of peace but neighboring monarchs are always eager for the glory of war. The winds of change are blowing through Europe; the Renaissance is sweeping from Italy northward, the Reformation sweeping outward from Germany. Though England has thus far managed to escape the most radical movements that come with them, she won't be able to stay unchanged forever.

This is an rpg based on the Showtime series, 'The Tudors.' We have been up and running a couple of months now, but we are still missing quite a few main characters, most importantly King Henry, VIII. We have another player that's been filling in for him since we had to loose our Henry due to lack of particpation. PENPAL: an epistolary rpg
The word that is heard perishes, but the letter that is written remains.

In today's technological world of text messages, emails, and cell phones, the art of letter writing often goes ignored and unappreciated. This community is an attempt to revive this lost art and use it as a means of character development for roleplayers and other writers. Instead of focusing on threading, AIM, or journal entries, penpal's main form of interaction will be letters and emails between fictional characters who have joined a website to form new long-distance friendships through the written word.

The community is scheduled to open after 10 applications, and we are seeking dedicated, character-oriented writers who are willing to try an atypical style of roleplaying. There is no AIM requirement and no storylines community, and there are no restrictions on location or PB. All characters and writers must be age 18 or older.
