You waste away your days in the ways that only the most wealthy and privileged can, but it all becomes monotonous. That's when you hear it whispered. The Island. You see the excited sparkle in your friend's eyes as they allude to it in hushed tones. No one will speak openly of it, people scatter and eyes avert when you mention it. You ask, you threaten, you bribe, finally a friend tells you to purchase a ticket on a small private jet. Upon boarding, you are handed a pamphlet. |

Deceptive Perception The land known as Inora consists of a set of islands that cradle more than just mortals in its loving embrace. They were said to have been created by vampires long ago. This gave them a place to live among the mortals who fed them while painting the earth red with blood. Eventually, other races were thrown into the fray and a century of war was fought for supremacy. Centuries passed between rulers and the times of war seemed to almost be forgotten. The treaty between the demons and vampires has always been upheld. The werewolves have always protected the treaty and, eventually, winds of change blew through the lands. Times evolved and an industrial revolution took hold. All was well with the lands. The latest in a long line of demonic kings has died and the vampires have come back into the throne. Even with this change, death and violence still run rampant through Inora's streets and it seems the Gunslingers are unable to stop it. Game being restarted after 5 applications! |

Premise
For as long as humans have recorded their history, there has always been mention of those that could change form.The Egyptians, for instance, had worshipped strange half human, half animal 'gods'. While the Native Americans believed that people had spirit animals that guided them and reflected their true character.
Mythology features many creatures that can take on or show human characteristics. And then there are the stories of dark and horrifying were-beings that cursed people turn into once every full moon.
All these stories have one thing in common - their true basis is about Therians.
In modern times, the Therians keep their ability secret and live amongst the rest of humanity. Although, there is a specific town where Therians thrive. Though, in recent times, many non-therians have moved to live there and thus the abilities are kept from those that do not know of their existence.
The Therians are not cursed like the were-beings of the stories and can change at will - there is, however, a specific time when their change is forced and out of their own control. The full moon.

There was once a time when the world accepted magic. Even worshiped and sought after those who wielded it. Today, that is a different story. Today sorcerers are living among the norm, hiding from oppressors and hunters that would try to capture their abilities for their own dark desires. In their state of hiding the families still hold to some of the old code, promising to protect those things mystical and magical. The time has come for war in Alloria, the magical plane of existence where all beings magical may live without fear. The elders have left to protect Alloria, leaving their eldest children as head of the family.
Now that the families are together again, all penned up in one Vallistaire Manor, what mischief will begin? Will old ties be renewed or will the distrust erupt into a war between families? Will lovers find forbidden fruit?
Come see the plot thicken.

Legend holds that when Gaia, the over-mind, created Judoh, it understood that as long as the city would be led by one of their own, it would become prey to the same vices and mistakes that plagued the rest of the society. In practice, after countless years of wars and political struggle, the mastermind designed a city built to thrive in spite of the passage of time. It built over the ruins of open conflict, turning casualties of mortars into the foundations of a scintillating city. It instilled rules and regulations and brought humans prosperity in exchange for obedience. As in the Bible, those who did not obey were thrown out of Paradise. |

Ivy Grove Academy is a fictional Private Boarding School, set in Worcester, Massachusetts, and loosely based off of the real Worcester Academy.
It is an independent coeducational preparatory school spread over 67 acres (270,000 m2) in Worcester, Massachusetts in the United States. The game will be based primarily in the upper school, serving approximately 500 students in grades nine and above. Approximately one-third of students in the upper school participate in the school's five - and seven-day boarding programs. Currently there are approximately 80 international students enrolled from 10 different nations. Ivy Grove Academy is a member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council, and its motto is the Greek phrase "Έφικνού τών Καλών," which translates to "Achieve the Honorable."
Founded in 1834 as the Ivy Grove County Manual Labor High School, it did not change its name until 1847. The school moved to its current location on Union Hill in Worcester in 1869. Ivy Grove Academy was all-male from its founding until 1856, and again from 1890 to 1974. It has been coeducational since. - Some direct quotations from the Woercester Academy Wiki page.
Gameplay will take place on the campus of Ivy Grove. Of course, this doesn't mean that students will always be confined to campus. Sports and other various events, trips, and activities will take place in the city of Worcester and surrounding areas. There are some links compiled below to help everyone get a feel of the area as much as we can, without actually visiting the place. Feel free to either reference actual places in Worcester, or make them up in game...within reason, of course.
Make sure to check with the School schedule and bulletin board for holidays, off-campus trips, and school events that will affect everyone. (Schedule coming soon) And, I know there's a lot of information to read over, but please take the time to do so. It was all done with the intention of setting the scene, for us all to have a more detailed and fun environment to RP in!

post-hogwarts trio-era The year is 2000. After seven tumultuous years, everything is calm. Harry Potter has defeated the Dark Lord, and things are finally as they were always meant to be. Hypothetically. Nearly two years after the war, and witches and wizards everywhere are still having trouble putting their lives back together. Missing friends, dead family, strained relationships, and social inadequacies are causing mixed feelings everywhere. What should have been a perfect time is now, to put it best, awkward. There are so many people who don't quite know what to do with themselves now that the world isn't in grave peril. Lucky for them, there are still a few people out there looking to change that.  It is a land divided by past events, it's history filled with conflict between the four races that call Azzaria it's home. That was until recently; one of the rulers has decided that peace is needed and has contacted the other races. Alliance through marriage and trade deals are now on the hands. This RPG tells the story of those who support the notion of peace, and those who oppose it... Open Races The Celts :: The Celts are a simple folk, quite the opposite of their Imperial neighbours. Some are farmers and warriors by trade, only having knowledge of war and survival. The younger generations have become more diverse, but the elder Celts remain stuck in their ways. Celts are known for their stubbornness, which is probably why men and women are at equal standings in their society; neither would willingly back down! Despite being simple and less extravagant, they are intelligent and are loyal to the bone. They are firmly against magic, believing it to be unnatural for anyone other than the Gods to have such power. ---> More Information about the Celts The Imperials :: The Imperials believe in freedom of spirit, and follow no religion or belief system. To them, following one's desires and emotions is the most important thing in life. Their race specialises in magic and knowledge, and cherishes beauty. They have a formidable army which they consider superior to other races. There is a downside to all the freedom and following ones emotions; Imperials are quick to anger, holding grudges for long periods of time. They do not forget past wrongs done to their family line, which often turns Daeria into a political battleground. would anyone else enjoy a digimon game? set probably around season one, based in america, with virtually all OCs (except for Michael, the digi-destined from the USA who is canon, and Mimi Tachikawa, Michael's friend from season 1 alumni.)
