In a suburban community in a nameless city in a nameless state, people wake up every morning with their hair perfectly combed. They sometimes drink from empty cups. They deliver witty one-liners. Every problem they ever have can be resolved in 30 minutes, or in a very special one-hour episode. Everyone who lives in this community is a sit-com character reborn. They are not aware of this, of course. There is no laugh track playing in the background of their days, no mood music and no set lighting. For these people, the world around them, their neighbors, and their selves are as real as anything. But we know better. We have seen them in prime time. We'd know them anywhere. |

Deceptive Perception The land known as Inora consists of a set of islands that cradle more than just mortals in its loving embrace. They were said to have been created by vampires long ago. This gave them a place to live among the mortals who fed them while painting the earth red with blood. Eventually, other races were thrown into the fray and a century of war was fought for supremacy. Centuries passed between rulers and the times of war seemed to almost be forgotten. The treaty between the demons and vampires has always been upheld. The werewolves have always protected the treaty and, eventually, winds of change blew through the lands. Times evolved and an industrial revolution took hold. All was well with the lands. The latest in a long line of demonic kings has died and the vampires have come back into the throne. Even with this change, death and violence still run rampant through Inora's streets and it seems the Gunslingers are unable to stop it. Game being restarted after 10 applications! |

 Tired of those games that are purely meant for shipping purposes and barely focus on the events of the first war? We are, and that is exactly why we have created Waddiwasi. Tidbits of information is all we have been given, tiny nuances to sustain us, but what about the fine details? What really happened during the First War when You-Know-Who was at his peak and the Wizarding World was barely staying above water? The individual stories of those during that time and the conflicts they had were never written, but they certainly existed. Students just out of Hogwarts viewed the world with endless possibilities; some acquired jobs, found a place to live, settled down and had a family, while others made their parents proud, took the Dark Mark, and joined an organisation which promised to restore the wizarding world to its former glory. So join us and let's write their history, a complete history, of the events that happened that affected the fate of the wizarding world forever. Yet, the war did not end with his death. For years, the Wizarding World has worked to repair the damages left during the aftermath of war. Emotional burdens have yet to fully heal, too many lives destroyed, families torn apart, and friends lost. Hogwarts was left in rubble, unable to reopen for years, the damage too great, endless sweat and tears shed as people worked to rebuild the foundations to give their children a future. Death Eaters still roam free, cunningly avoiding even the best Aurors, leaving many in fear that another war will be on the horizon. As things begin to resemble some semblance of normalcy, an old follower of Voldemort is in the wings, plotting his revenge, gathering the remaining Death Eaters and new followers, planning to unleash a new war, wanting to finish his master’s vision. Long after the wars finally settled and the Monarchy had come to existence, there is now another struggle for power coming into play but this is far more dangerous and the outcome has consequences far worse than any war or small skirmish can produce. Muggles fall under the parliamentary rule and see the monarchy as a symbol of their country. Wizards, however, fall under the direct rule of King Lucius I, The Malfoy Dynasty has been in power for less than a century, and with Prince Draco the only heir, the line could leave the bloodline and pass to the Longbottoms, a family who stands for everything the Malfoys do not. | We all know the story of England's greatest Wizarding war, people, and events. But what about right across the English Chanel? What life lies in the country of France, the home of l'Académie de Magie Beauxbâtons and so many other places of note? The year is 2009, and a new party known only as the Reformists won almost all the elections in the magical French government in late 2008. Their agendas are not known to the public, and how they won not exactly clear. Some begin to question how the Reformists won, who is running the country, and other unseemly questions. But the crowning success of the so called 'Reformists' (headed by the never seen and unknown 'Marcus Laprine') soon make people forget these early complaints. The Reformists managed to create laws which eradicated diseases that had been threatening the French wizarding community by collecting all those who are ill, and magically 'washing out' their immune systems at government stations, with government healers. No one knows how this 'washing' works, only that people aren't dying, crime is down, the economy is rising with exports being shipped out, and Paris is becoming the mecca of francophone wizards again. Yet, critics still question how the elections were won, and what this new healing magic is. But in March of 2009, suddenly, a new wave of illness comes. Twenty six people die while with the government healers, all of them past critics of the Reformists and family members. But they were older, weaker- maybe it was just their time to go. Or so many French people claim: others even go so far to say that they deserved it, for going agianst those who had saved France from slowly crumbling with tradition. Finally, in May 2009 the Reformists make a move: releasing books on how to keep a witch or wizard healthy from these horrible illnesses, and the public eats them up for the most part. The elderly are to be left to the country side to fade away naturally, while the youth must stay phsyically fit and healthy. Bloodlines must be kept straight and narrow: pureblood marrying pureblood, and muggle borns left to thier own devices, or to die out. The issue isn't blood purity like in England- it's blood ranking, with the goal passing on the best to the next generation. Some feel indigant at once: England had shown them what happened in these situations. Others refuse to question the group that saved their city and children. Some turn a blind eye. What will you do? It's a basic town-based rpg, where you're free to bring in your own original characters.One of the first cities to be established in the United States, PROVIDENCE is the capital of, and most populous city in, RHODE ISLAND. The city, located at the mouth of the Providence River on the Narragansett Bay, is a typical town that's had its ups and downs in the past.
So what sets Providence apart from other cities?
A home in Providence does not demand difficult trade offs between lifestyles and environments. Living in Providence can include expansive lawns, swimming pools, white picket fences, and a newly built home. Providence can also provide the shops, activity, community spirit, and cultural richness of down city living. What sets Providence apart from the suburbs and other cities is the variety of choice within its wide housing spectrum.

It started with Pixar. While Woody felt himself being replaced by a shiny, new Rocketman, the two dimensional cartoon world saw the beginning of what would be their end. Some cartoons had already slipped into a comfortable retirement, but most saw the death of their own genre as the three dimensional world took over. But, instead of being erased from pop culture history, the old world entered the new. Broke through it, in fact. Roger Rabbit was the first to leave Toontown. He had always been known for having one foot in the door and one out, but better for being completely obsolete as soon as his movie ended. One morning he woke up in the real life body of Roger Baxter, an up and coming television star. The two Rogers were forced to make sense of each other, exist in the same body and help other cartoons that were jumping off the page into the streets of Los Angeles. This is Erased. Perhaps centuries ago the Ministry of Magic orchestrated a separation of Church and State that excluded the Elders and WhiteLighters from interfering with European witchcraft. But their reach did not extend to the American colonies where true magic was stifled and only brought into the light in recent generations thanks to the tireless work of WhiteLighters. Now, in 2025, after two great battles have been won against Voldemort and the Ultimate Power, things have changed. Both Hogwarts and Salem Institute are open again. But when the peace of both sides is threatened again, Potters and Halliwells will have to unite wizards and witches everywhere under a common cause. |

 rentman, an apartment-based game, set in Brooklyn, NY, since December 2008.Fort Greene is a vibrant Brooklyn neighborhood full of diversity and culture. The area continues to attract musicians, artists, and other people looking for cheap rent close to Manhattan. While one might mention the creaking pipes, the peeling olive green wallpaper in the hallways, or how the temperamental elevators never make it to the top floor, Clermont Heights is filled with interesting characters and always-fun, too-close for comfort neighborly relationships. Even though the cranky landlady, Mrs. Winchell, who spends more time interested in her cats than helping residents might not be a selling point, when rent is between $900 and $1300 a month, college students and mid-to-low-income families can't afford to complain too much.  On May 1st, 2009, nation leaders spoke together to reveal a truth to the world: the supernatural world is real. Vampires, werewolves, and more exist. They have been known to the government for a long time, and now they are coming out of the shadows - and they come with a message. They are not a threat. They mean no danger to humans. But there are other things out there that do. The days that followed changed everything most people believed they knew about the world, about history, and most importantly, about themselves. Celebrities, politicians, the family down the street - they began revealing their true identities, and telling the world what they really were. Missing people that had been turned against their will came out of hiding, and orginizations popped up to reunite them with their families. The revealing of the supernatural was penned in the media as the Light of May, as society made room for the supernatural. It wasn't easy. Many, human and supernatural alike, were terrified of what this would mean. Some wanted to keep the supernatural abominations down. Leading figures of both Democratic and Republican parties were revealed to be supernaturals themselves, and joined together to fight for civil rights for the supernatural. It is revealed that if the supernatural were wiped out, half of the entire world's population would be gone. Independent parties popped up through-out the country, opposing supernatural rights, and the fight goes on. But those aren't the only battles being fought. Why did the Light of May happen? If the supernatural has always existed, why are they only making themselves known now? For centuries, those with supernatural blood have been hunted, held, and killed - all for the benefits of their blood to hunters, and vampires who don't want to play by the rules of etiquette. There was a time when the angels, and even the fae, fought to protect them. But the fae have been extinct for hundreds of years, and worse - the angels seem to have disappeared. There is nothing fighting the demons of the world at bay now. The human race is at risk, and they are not alone.  The Light of May is an original supernatural game, taking place in a time when the world is adjusting to the world that has been hidden since the beginning of time. The game is set in Ann Arbor, Michigan, centered around a fictional township called Scarlet Oak. Characters of many races are up for play, as are those trusty humans. The Light of May will be focusing on characters adjustments and the eventual struggle against demons, hunters, and more. The Light of May is for original characters only. Pre-existing fandom characters will not be allowed. The Light of May is a friendly, plot-oriented group, well established with 90+ characters. We have two helpful and friendly mods, willing to go out of there way to make sure everyone gets in on the fun, as well as regular (and optional) OOC social chats on the weekends. light_of_may |
