 Welcome to The Quidditch Village


In April 2003, the Ministry of Magic decided to hold a Quidditch Tournament with the old four teams when Harry Potter was a member. All four Hogwarts Teams decided to go, although some notable players were missing as they had died in battle, they still went to Hogwarts on April 14th. It was meant to be a fun way to start a new tradition of bring past players to the Hogwarts Pitch.

As Oliver Wood, Marcus Flint, Roger Davies, and Jacob Summerby walked to the center to shake hands, the teams surrounded them in a circle. That's when it happened. To the 28 players standing on the pitch it felt as though the ground had fallen out from beneath them. It was almost like a dream as they landed just outside a village. They all looked around trying to figure out what had happened. Seconds later an old woman who wouldn't show her face walked up to them, some had their wands drawn, some were just watching, some were getting ready to cry. As the old woman opened her mouth to speak, two figures started to walk towards her...

"Welcome, it is about time you showed up. We've been waiting for you. Welcome to your new home. You are tasked with completing a tournament and figuring out life here. You all have a room, and a job. Don't worry, time here isn't what you are used to. You will not miss anything from the world you are from.

There are two additional players here, they will take their rightful spots on Hufflepuff and Gryffindor. The two who have come in their place will act as substitutes for all four teams." The old woman smiled at them, and the two men flanking her showed their faces... Cedric Diggory and Fred Weasley. Each has been here since their respected deaths, growing to the age they would have been in your world."

Each player was quickly assigned a room, a journal to communicate in that also tells them when practice and matches are, and a day job... There is no trading, it is merely what the lives of these 30 Quidditch players now lead... With the promise as soon as a winner is announced they can go home....

It's been 150 years since bees have gone extinct. Governments have reformed, warring over land and water. The US has split into separate countries. Most towns and cities are fortified in some way to protect their water sources and any crops they can grow. Though there is democracy in the USEA, the military is really in control and their presence is known and respected. They're in charge of supplies and goods coming in and out of each town and all the towns' communications centers, defense, hospitals, etc. Some are grateful for military governing, others are resentful. Some are deeply religious, some atheist. Nomadic tribes still roam the lands, some associated with other countries and regions, some associated to no one but themselves, but all looking to ransack, pillage and destroy the cities and unprotected villages they come across in their journeys.

We survived the apocalypse, maybe we'll survive each other.

PREMISE
That sleepy college town? The small town you see on TV and say 'That place seems nice.'? That town where everyone knows your name? That's Grove City, Pennsylvania. It's the idealistic place to "go raise a family".
Though the town is small [and a dry town] there are many things to do. There's an old fashioned movie theatre complete with marquee, a rather large outlet mall, etc. But the youth of Grove City tends to have more fun occupying themselves with things such as swimming at Wolf Creek, keggers, and the town's rather extensive rock music following. Every weekend, all weekend, there are local bands playing shows to entertain their friends, they're always followed by a big party complete with kegstands and someone passing out and being drawn on for the amusement of their buddies. Someone's always fighting about something, someone's always dreaming that big dream, someone's always looking for a way out, someone's always cheating on their girl, and someone's always hiding that tattoo they just got down at Squirelly's from their mother.
Every kind of person inhabits the town. Rich people, poor people, rednecks, preps, rockers, nerds, young people, middle-aged, eldery, children.. and oh, don't forget the vampires, weres and witches.
The human race has always known deep down that they were not the only creatures inhabiting their planet. The signs were there to suggest that they were walking beside things of a more supernatural creation. Within the last one hundred years, Supernaturals were no longer content to hide in the slums of the world's cities as myth. They wanted to claim their roles as citizens and be apart of the world that the mortals ruled. It took some time before the human race was willing to accept that everything that they had thought to be myth was actually the universe's dirty little secret.
From the outside, sure, Grove City's still the sleepy college town. From the inside? Well, we know better.

</u>THE SPECIFICS</u>
This is a PLAYED BY game.
The inhabitants of Grove City Can be weres, witches, vampires, and humans.
Your character can be a Grove City College student, A college professor, High School Student, or townie. Ages range from 13-elderly.
There are over 150 jobs available and many residential listings. Your character can live in a dorm or somewhere within the town of Grove City.
Every character in the game will have a secret. The secret is what their life is based around. You can choose a secret here.
Grove City, Pennsylvania is located forty minutes north of Pittsburgh, forty minutes south of Erie, and forty minutes to the east of Ohio. Please try to remember it's a small town, there may not be some of the bigger corporations around it. For example, the closest Starbucks is a half hour away. However, there are fast food chains and brand name stores located at the Outlet Mall.

There are many things in this world Humans do not understand, or know. Supernatural things, things that aren't human. All we know is what we see day to day and the images that look back at us in our reflection.

Mirrors represent many things, and like eyes are the gateway to the soul, mirrors could be a gateway to another world. Such was the case for thousands of years - Humans saw the briefest glimpses of another world in mirrors or other reflective surfaces, and from them created most of the legend, myth, and folklore we know today.

After the largest earthquake in recorded history occured in 2007, the mirrors remained quiet. There was no catching an unfamiliar figure out of the corner of your eye, no reflections in still ponds that did not match the reflection it should have been. Instead, that other world has become a part of ours, and the things that lurked behind the glass and in the shadows are as real as ever. Many don't know or won't ever believe, but some are beginning to suspect.

While the Humans are beginning to suspect the presence of the Others, the Others are beginning to suspect that their own myth and legend is as real as they are to humankind. Something is calling for them. Not everything can hear it, some won't ever hear it, but still the call comes. It speaks on the wind or in dreams. Even they are beginning to wonder if their reflections are really their own.

It's time to look beyond the mirror.

In 1995 the world is changing, and not everything is the way it has been in the life of Harry Potter or his friends. Fifteen years ago the Potters placed a Fidelius Charm upon their home, making Sirius Black their Secret Keeper. Lord Voldemort never discovered the location of the Potter home. Lily and James Potter are very much alive. Also hidden, the Longbottoms avoided their own ghastly fate. Having no way to move forward, Lord Voldemort vanished slowly into the background. However, no Death Eater would consider it a retreat.

Harry grew up in a loving home under the protection of the Charm and is far from the poor boy that he once would have been at Privet drive. With his parents around, Neville was not coddled, but loved and became well balanced early on in life. Upon entering Hogwarts, Harry soon learned the world was not exactly as his parents and uncles had made it out to be. Neville was pleased that everything was what he had hoped for.

In the years since Lord Voldemort’s disappearance the Wizarding World has become a place of tension and strife. Pure-bloods are looked upon with suspicions, Half-bloods are being shunned by both sides for not being on one side or the other, and Muggle-borns are vanishing before they have a chance to even attend Hogwarts. In this world, the Order works to protect the Muggle-borns and get them out of the country for their own safety. The Aurors arrive after the attacks and have the gruesome job of cleaning up. No one is sure who leads these attacks, but everyone suspects the socialite Bellatrix Black Lestrange and the Lord Lucius Malfoy.

The Ministry of Magic is split in two. When the current Minister, Bartemius Crouch Senior, came into office he led the largest dark wizard hunt of the century. Unfortunately, his wide nets caught up the blundering or the stupid but allowed the slipperiest of the Dark Lord’s followers through, including the Minister’s own son. Barty Crouch Jr, still firmly in under the direction his Lord went on to work for his father at the Ministry. At the beginning of the 1995 school year he was inducted as the current Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. The Ministry is rife with the corruption of the Death Eaters lying in wait for their Lord’s return. Their day is here and now. If the Order cannot handle it, if the Ministry is too subverted to control it, then what are the two Prophesied Children to do? It is up for Harry or Neville to rise to the occasion, for the sake of the Wizarding World.

The Fruitful Project
Original Character. Future. Arranged Marriage. 17 & Up.

In the year 2010 the world was plagued by the full effect of Global Warming. No country was spared, and no one could imagine the speed in which it came. Within months entire cities were underwater, drier than deserts, or completely leveled. Thousands died and there was no end in sight. Many lost hope until 2020 when the Eden Project was founded.

The Eden Project was a last ditch effort by the human race. Surviving scientists came up with a chemical, a gas called 'Eden' that would hopefully cool the atmosphere enough to put a stop to the catastrophes happening around the world. Slowly but surely the temperature began to drop and the storms slowed. In the time between the beginning of the storms to the launch of the Eden Project, the world population had dropped from nearly seven billion to a little below five.

It was another six years before the effect of the 'Eden' chemical was known.

It began in 2028. There were suddenly less children being born and by the end of 2029, pregnancies stopped all together. The men and women of the world were now completely sterile. It was soon discovered that the Eden chemical was the cause of the sterilization, that the one thing that had saved the world had also doomed it to an inevitable ending, the population destined to dwindle down to nothing.

Now in 2048, after the population has dropped to below three billion, a solution has been found. The same lab that came up with the Eden project has been working for the past nineteen years to reverse the devastating effects without destroying the clean and near perfect atmosphere of Earth. The Fruitful project was a serum, a cure that reversed the sterilization but only in people below the age of thirty.

The Global Government is taking a drastic step to increase the population. The Governments of the world began to administer the serum by either offering it for people to take willingly or slipping it into the water. To further insure that the population will continue to grow, a global law has been put into place. A marriage law. The Fruitful Law.

Every healthy, non-married person between the ages of nineteen and twenty-nine are to be married, whether by choice or by Government selection. The couple will have a one year period at the most after their marriage to conceive.

The Fruitful project is for the betterment of our world. Who will be your match?

Tired of those games that are purely meant for shipping purposes and barely focus on the events of the first war? We are, and that is exactly why we have created Waddiwasi.

Tidbits of information is all we have been given, tiny nuances to sustain us, but what about the fine details? What really happened during the First War when You-Know-Who was at his peak and the Wizarding World was barely staying above water? The individual stories of those during that time and the conflicts they had were never written, but they certainly existed. [info]luxelife_mod is constantly looking for new characters. A PB community with tons of fun. An active community.

Currently I am looking for a couple new Storylines. My girl Hayden, is currently single and pregnant. Looking for Love. I was thinking of a storyline where an older, rich man was interested in her. He would be a friend of her father's and have taken her under his wing type thing. This can be discussed. Doesn't have to be but we can talk about it.


Another storyline possibility is a girl from Hayden's past looking to cause trouble for her. Sort of a Georgina Sparks thing from Gossip Girl but throw our own twist on things.

Your Song is a present day RPG that takes place at the fictional Presley School for the Performing Arts in Yonkers, New York, just outside of New York City.

Students must audition for a specialty (dance, music, art, technical theatre, drama) to obtain a coveted spot at this prestigious academy.

All characters in the game are based on famous songs!

Characters are in their junior and senior years of high school, and must be pursuing some career in the arts.

So why don't you tell everybody that this is your song by placing a hold today?
