spittingimage via copycatt - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team! | The Premise |
| Voldemort is dead – has been for almost seven years now – the war should have been over that night long ago when Harry Potter did what no one dared believe he would do. The war, however, didn't end, but went on. Regrouping under Bellatrix and Rodolphus Lestrange, the Death Eaters kept fighting and with the Ministry gone and the Minister for Magic killed, the wizarding world was thrown into chaos. From this chaos, two new factions were born. One group (under the leadership of Minerva McGonagall) wanted to open wizarding society to a decidedly suspicious Muggle world, whilst the others wanted to close off the wizarding world completely from Muggle influence and seek strength in isolation. With a brutal attack destroying Diagon Alley that left a part of London burning, the two factions of light realised that they must start working together to defeat the Death Eaters. The game began at this turning point of the war - the point where the side of light finally has a chance to win. But there is still a long way to go. Can these two factions put aside their differences to finally win this war, or will they dissolve into their own fighting, giving the Death Eaters a chance to overcome? Which side will your character support? |

| Beyond the Darkness RPG is a role-playing game based on the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. The setting takes place seven years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ends but is canon compliant only to Half Blood Prince (as the game began before the release of book seven). If you're looking for a game where player influence on the main plot is high and the moderators are willing to listen to your suggestions, then this is the game for you. One year running and still going strong, we see a bright future for the game. With plot-lines running far beyond the end of the war, we're not going anywhere for a long while. We are looking for creative and active players who want to build a story for their characters in this far from perfect world. All levels of experience are welcome, from the players who have never played an RPG before, to those who have played for several years. Game officially started on February 2nd 2007. |

| At the moment we're actively looking to recast several important characters, as well as seeking those we feel could develop the over all game. The list of available characters is still large and varied however, so don't hesitate to take a look. Among those we're seeking to recast are: Rodolphus Lestrange, Draco Malfoy, Bill, Charlie and Arthur Weasley...as well as several others. Examples of other needed characters would be Lee Jordan, Rita Skeeter or another canon character who is involved with the media in some way as this world is in great need of some way to spread news. We're also looking for a Death Eater who could function as a spy within Upper Slaughter. This needs to be someone who could be recruited by Severus (so someone who trusts him), and also someone clever enough to manoeuvre around Rodolphus and Bellatrix - which is not an easy task. |

The Game Life has been good to the Halliwells since the Final Battle was won. Twenty six years later, Phoebe is an acclaimed novelist as well as keeping her trademark column at The Bay Mirror. Piper's restaurant has finally come into glory, one of the best in San Fransisco. Leo, though mortal, is teaching at Magic school, a place for the bright generation of magical beings. Paige is teaching a new generation of witches and whitelighters to come into their own. Evil has been scarce at best, but when it ever dared show it's face, good magic and naturally the Charmed Ones have fought it. The children of the infamous Charmed Ones are grown now, each leading a life of their own. Wyatt, Chris, and their cousins are all growing and learning about themselves, discovering love and friends. All the while finding a balance between life outside of magic and fulfilling their magical duties. However, life, as the Halliwell sisters learned many years ago, may not always be so simple. Has the Underworld been scarce? Yes. Dead? No. Simply dormant. Waiting. Though chaos has reigned for years below, suddenly the factions of the evil are being brought together. A powerful new Source is rising and quickly. First on the agenda? Eliminate the competition, the biggest threat to the throne. The Charmed Ones and their line. Battles will be fought, love lost and found, friends and enemies revealed. We are living in a world of uncertainty now. Before, the only worries we truly had were whether or not we would pass our examinations or if the marauders were the ones responsible for turning everyone's hair a nice shade of lilac. But times are changing and things are getting darker out in the real world. A growing army is fast approaching; friends and family members are disappearing more often and there are a growing number of events happening that can no longer be explained easily. All done by he who dare calls himself Lord. Asphodel is a game focused almost entirely on the war of the late 1970s that threw the entire wizarding world into chaos. With darkening themes and realistic events, it won't be for those who are faint at heart and can't bear to sit back and watch our most beloved characters thrown into the lion's den. Prague. A wonderful city, beautiful in all of it's splendor. Though what the general public doesn't know... can hurt them. In the heart of the beautiful city lies the true nature. Vampires, werewolves, necromancers, and shapeshifters, not to mention a whole bunch more of other species, that clearly aren't human any longer. They've been there for a long time. They aren't going to leave, and even though their history spans longer than the city it's self, things are just getting started. The Mathias werewolf pack, and the Isline vampire coven have just recently made themselves a peace treaty. No one knows how long its going to last, and even if it will last. The Baltimore Syndicate members are becoming so greedy in their lust for domination that they chose to ignore the rise of members in the Lolea clan. The hunters are getting restless too. Everyone feels a shift in their world, and are slowly reacting to it. Even if only subconciously. It'll all come to a stopping hault soon, but no one knows who's going to end up the victor.
