It started, of course, with one individual slayer. The house in flames. Nothing of her body left to recover. An escalation of the same deceases began piling, and as they did so, so did the suspicions. Before they knew it, slayer numbers were decreasing day to day - or more properly, night to night in similar details that ended Sam and Dean Winchester’s mother’s life. Buffy’s army was hit blow by blow, and while they most certainly had more than a few deaths, they tended to lean toward demon or, more commonly, vampire attacks. Saving the world from apocalypses. Not house fires. Not because they happened to forget to turn off the stove in their bedrooms.
Ten.. nine.. eight.. seven.. six.. five..
New Year was the start of a definitely new year in Cleveland, where Ohio has become a spot of erratic turbulence. Creatures wonder with aimed direction toward the city, where the newest Hellmouth has recently been flocked with your neighborhood night stalkers. The slayers that had been shipped toward Ohio’s Hellmouth have already been slaughtered, their bodies mangled in the same fires that distress many and dumbfound officers of the law. Hunters jeopardize their lives by entering the city to.. well, if you will, hunt. And that’s what Dean and Sam Winchester do.
Hunt.
Knowing they have a lead to the Yellow Eyed Demon, they travel by (precious, Dean quotes) Impala, as Angel and Buffy follow their lead by plane. What attracted Buffy from her post at Rome, Italy had been the final straw. She came home. Got in bed. Drop after sticky drop. Red. Crimson. Blood. She watched a slayer die, engulfed in orange flames that licked at the expression of pure terror.
The people opposing the White Hats and Hunters? Well, more like things, wouldn’t you say? They don’t have any real faces. One created the other. The Demon and the First have become quite the acquaintances in a short span of time, and Wolfram and Hart have followed the ties. Under order, they bring back Cordelia Chase, the same they did with Darla. And Darla's back, too. And human. Yet again. But not because of Wolfram and Hart, because she's been given another chance for risking her life, alongside other faces Dean and Sam have seen that are familiar to the scoobie gang and Angel Investigations; Tara, Darla, and Fred have been resurrected. Or should we dub them Lenore, Layla Rouke, and Andrea Barr? They are oblivious to their own former lives, their memories lost.
As Dean, Sam, the scoobie gang, what’s left of Angel Investigation, and everyone begin their stay at Ohio’s hotels, they are unaware the party - decorations and everything - is on lockdown and no one is getting out of Ohio anytime soon.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel the Series, and Supernatural have collided in a tangled city of chaos. A new Hellmouth. A new Apocalypse. New alliances. How do you like them apples?
