"The world's still the same. There's just less in it" After facing death and his own hell in Jones' locker, Jack Sparrow is in search of eternal life. Also clinging to life is the last of the Golden Age of Piracy. The East India Trading Company and the Navy it supports and half controls still seek to wipe out those who stand in their way of plotting every inch of the world on paper and controlling all of the goods to be had on every shore. Pirates fight among themselves and for survival. The Navy seems to serve the Trading Company as loyally as they do the King. Honest merchant sailors can barely make a living in the wake of the mammoth company. Meanwhile, as the scholars of the world seek to document every fact and hold all of the world within the safe confines of 'logic', the fantastic things of the world dwindle. Fae, merfolk, monsters and more are killed off in the name of a safer, simpler world; or else flee or disappear in presence of the crushing banality of 'reason'. There's so much less for a man to discover every day. So much less left 'unknown'. Everything will be owned and understood within another century, it seems. Where will all the unknown go then? And what immortality will be left to be had? |

 - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team! Set in an inn suspended between worlds, a place that - like Narnia - only the young can find, the game is made up entirely of characters aged eighteen and under. Players may choose characters who are children in canon, or bring in canonly older characters from a point in their childhood, allowing you to explore old favourites from a distinctly different angle. |

It’s 1976 and the Marauders are in their Sixth year. Things have already started to move and heat up with mysterious deaths and disappearances. The order is not fully established yet but it’s getting there and the Death Eaters are growing rather strong. It’s time to fight, time to take sides and time to find out who your real friends are.
What we are: A lot of fun. The mods look at what your character will bring to the game and what you will bring to the game.
What we are not: STICTLY CANON. We’re semi-AU. We like to see characters in all lights. What if Lily had a fling with Serverus? What if James fell in love with someone else? Show us your characters and if we like them your in.

Initium is a new beginning. Lord Voldemort is dead and the wizarding world is picking up the pieces left in his wake. The muggle-born registration has ended and they no longer live in hiding. The ministry is no longer in turmoil. Hogwarts is reopening. All is right with the world?
In the wake of Lord Voldemorts demise, the death eaters have claimed to be Imperiused or otherwise coerced into service in his name. Some have been released into society, now better citizens. Among that group was Rodolphus Lestrange. He has become very active in the ministry and is considering a run for political office, standing up for the order, doing what is right in society. Things are not always as they appear. The death eaters have reformed underground and are quietly building their army again under Lestrange's guidance, unbeknownst to the world.
Meanwhile Hogwart's is flourishing. Due to the disasters of the last year, the students have been invited back for a proper 7th year and a proper education. It is a shortened year but it gives then the opportunity to make up what they missed and take the exams that will help them continue on into their careers. The parents think that it is a good idea, especially those of muggleborn children who had to leave the school last year. The DA is a welcome organization and the students may feel free to join. It isn't hidden but honored. Below the surface though, the DE children will also organize and will build again. Leading in the seventh year, they are now pushed underground but they never stay there for long.
Initium is an intricately woven game where spies for either side, run rampant as battle lines are again drawn. Each side, both in the wizarding world and at school are gearing up for yet another round. Who will win in the new world is anybody's guess.
Many characters like Order Members, Death Eaters, and Students from all houses are needed.

 Located just four miles out of Napa, California, The Sutton Academy has become the place for the rich (and sometimes famous) to send their children. Boys and girls come from all over the country (and in a few cases, the world), to receive a first rate education. At least, that's what the brochures say. The truth is, The Sutton Academy has become more of a 24-7 babysitter for rich kids rather than a school. The price tag is high, but it's a rarity that kids fail out, or get kicked out of Sutton, something their parents know when they sign their checks each year. |

Harry Potter didn't think he'd be boarding the Hogwarts Express for his final year, but the events of summer 97 made it all possible. The trio, with the aid of the Order, managed to find and destroy each horcrux. It had been the most difficult three months of their lives, but the Wizarding World was safe once again. Safe does not mean peaceful, however. Some argue over the imprisonment of Death Eaters. Others cannot believe Voldemort is dead. And still others are boastful over the Light's win. The Ministry is rebuilding itself, but at a price since the people of the wizarding world are distrustful toward those in charge. Meanwhile, Hogwarts is not the place all once knew. Minerva McGonagall is headmistress while Severus Snape, his name cleared, has taken over potions and Slytherin Head once again. Snape's old nemesis, Remus Lupin, has returned as DADA professor and Gryffindor Head. Yet, no one can forget the attack on the school. The Malfoys, saved by Narcissa's lie for Harry, have regained their fortune, but are relative outcasts now that most of their partners, friends, and acquaintances are either imprisoned or deceased. The world is learning to operate as one, but old loyalties and beliefs die hard. Who will embrace a life where all blood is good? Who will attempt to fight the changing tide and uphold the values of old? Only time will tell, but no one expects a bump free road either inside or outside of Hogwarts.
