 Located just four miles out of Napa, California, The Sutton Academy has become the place for the rich (and sometimes famous) to send their children. Boys and girls come from all over the country (and in a few cases, the world), to receive a first rate education. At least, that's what the brochures say. The truth is, The Sutton Academy has become more of a 24-7 babysitter for rich kids rather than a school. The price tag is high, but it's a rarity that kids fail out, or get kicked out of Sutton, something their parents know when they sign their checks each year. |

While the Death Eaters did not succeed, they left a tiny sliver. This allowed the time magic, broken from their magical encases, to spread at a slow rate. The spread went undetected until 2002 when people exposed to the magic were physically reverted to younger forms, retaining their memory, and random spots where the magic gathered pulled those once deceased from their own respective times. |

 - Plot - Rules - Character List - Played-Bys - Team Info - Apply - - Contacts (F-Lock) - Advertise (F-Lock) - So we all know that Captain Jack Harkness runs Torchwood Three, that Torchwood One was destroyed in the Battle of Canary Wharf, that Torchwood Two is headed by "a very strange man" and that Torchwood Four is currently misplaced. Well that's all fine and dandy, but things are about to start changing. Torchwood One is reopening just outside of London and is now known as Torchwood 1.1 and Torchwood Two's leader has been replaced. Torchwood Three of course isn't any different, with the exception that Jack has been missing for a bit. The big thing is that Torchwood Four is back on the map, headed by the same person it had been before it was 'misplaced'. It seems Torchwood Four, headed by one Major Charlie Sheppard, had a minor malfunction involving Cardiff's rift. In fact, Torchwood Four is located right near Torchwood Three, or at least it was until it and its team got pulled into another universe. Which is where Lucian Devereaux comes in. It seems that he got a hold of a Time Agent's vortex manipulator in the far future and has been using it at his own pleasure. Well, until it backfired and he was sent to the present and made the rift flux, sucking Torchwood Four into it. Luckily, Major Sheppard wasn't there at the time. Now as for Lucian, he'd been jumping through time randomly and unwillingly as he tried to fix the vortex manipulator. During this time he realized that he'd jump from the present in Cardiff to some different point in time and then back. Along the way, he managed to bring back people with him who shouldn't be during that time, and that caused the rift to go haywire, also bringing people to the present that shouldn't be there: those that are dead, those who aren't born yet, and those in other dimensions. And so, Torchwood realized they needed to work extra hard to try and stop this and thus re-established Torchwood Four, somehow convincing Charlie to head it once more. And that is where we begin... Ever at the ready is a Torchwood/Doctor Who RP that allows for any character from either series (old and new) to be incorporated, as well as original characters! It takes place around the start of season two. We've only just started and we're looking for a majority of the canon cast still, including The Doctor (any of them) and most of Torchwood Three. We're also looking for bad guys and aliens to be hunted down, as well as people to fill up the other Torchwood Teams. If you think you're ready, then we're ready to have you join the team!  The Cure didn't work. So the government decided to step in and put it up a notch. The Mutant Registration Act was finally passed. All mutants are required to carry IDs stating their mutation or they would be arrested for breaking the law. Separate prisons were built for mutant criminals. The use of mutant powers in public not only incited riots, but now carries a minimum prison sentence of fifteen days. The great activist of mutant rights, Charles Xavier is dead. Erik Lensherr is back, powerful then ever, with a new Brotherhood of Mutants behind him. The future looks like a bleak place to be for mutants, but Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters flourishes under Ororo Munroe, the new Headmistress. She, along with the mutant only known as Logan, educate the young mutants of tomorrow and provide a beacon of hope to the mutant community. the process or result of the spreading of organisms from one place to another San Fransisco, USA. It's a city known for its culture and long history; a city where people of all sorts come together and live in (relative) peace. But where there's people, there's crime, and San Fransisco is not without its criminals. Rapists, murderers, gang members -- a colourful jamboree of sin clumped together. Police officers and inspectors are constantly working, always on the move to put the criminals behind bars. And while this may seem like any other large city in any other state, San Fransisco carries with it a secret that, should it ever be revealed to the world, could corrupt the balance of the world as we know it. Three sisters live in the suburbs of San Fransisco, nestled in a seemingly normal home just like any other house on the block. Everything appears normal on the inside and out -- they live like any other three sisters who remain close to one another into their adult lives. The oldest is the owner of a club, a mother and former chef who is well-known throughout the city for her exquisite cooking skills. The middle sister is a local celebrity, famous for her advice column for the Bay Mirror. And the youngest is a former social worker, though currently unemployed. Nothing about their situation seems out of the ordinary to anyone who's just passing by. But these girls are not what they appear to be. The attic of their seemingly normal home harbours an ancient book filled with spells and information on creatures not of our everyday world. Demons and warlocks, fairies and wizards, potions and enchantments -- everything that one might normally find inside a fantasy story. What if the Prophecy that made Harry Potter the 'Boy who lived' hadn't been given to the Dark Lord? What if a falsified Prophecy had been passed to him instead?
The year is 1995, When Harry, Ron and Hermione return to Hogwarts. A few changes have been made to the staff over the summer, the most noticeable being the new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor; A Mr. Tom Marvolo Riddle. His new post is widely questioned by the wizarding world; The man has been convicted of murders throughout the seventies, why would Dumbledore hire him to teach young children? Dumbledore simply plays it off saying that he has applied "twice before". That he has not been able to be convicted of anything. Mr. Riddle has, after all, been studying abroad since the 1980's, and is very knowledgeable on his subject.

Ever Wonder What The Lives Of The Chosen Ones Are Really Like?
Welcome To New York's Upper East Side, Where we live and go to school and play and sleep - sometimes with each other. We all live in huge apartments with our own bedrooms and bathrooms and phone lines. We have unlimited access to money and booze and whatever else we want, and our parents are rarely home, so we have tons of privacy. We're smart, we've inherited classic good looks, we wear fantastic clothes, and we know how to party. Our shit still stinks, but you can't smell it because the bathroom is sprayed hourly by the maid with a refreshing scent made exclusively for us by French perfumers.
It's a luxe life, but someone's got to live it.

A new RPG group for creatures of fantasy and urban legend- vampires, werewolves, spirits, witches, Fae- centred around Cardiff; city of Dr. Who and Torchwood fame. The Rift, a series of fissures in the nature of reality and the universe that makes interdimensional travel much easier there, is starting to act weirder than usual, and as such, all sorts of new people (and non-people) are arriving in the city. This new influx of strange and unusual citizens means those employed to police the supernatural population are rushed off their feet, trying to protect their new charges from the merciless stone angels and revengeful Fae...
It started off with just things like not being allowed near the stone circle at night and the odd Ragtag driving into the city off the non-existent Junction 31 on the M4. The Smiths had an easy enough job fitting in those who wanted to stay, helping those back who didn't and getting rid of and covering up those who weren't going to have it that staying undercover is important.
The problem is, though, that this city is weird and listens to those who live in it and this city's changed a lot over the last few years...
Now there's Ragtags coming in from all over, things that you've only ever heard of in folklore, and the Smiths are rushed off their feet trying to keep an uneasy peace and stopping the normal residents from finding out things are anything but everyday.
It's working though. There's selkies in the Bay and vampires working night shift up at the hospital. There's Fae studying music at the Uni and most of the Smiths are students these days too. It's hectic and the brand new fractures around town sometimes make travelling impossible and the statues try to kill you at night because the city listens to people’s ideas about it but it's working...

| There are places where the sun barely touches, where God doesn't exist and nothing makes sense. The town you are about to enter is one of those places. It's occupants found themselves pulled out of their ordinary lives, waking up confused and bewildered in the middle of some strange, dark woods. At first they think perhaps they had too much to drink, but when a scout appears-someone who looks almost haunted-they know they are no longer where they are meant to be. The scout leads them back to a strangely modern town about the size of Salem, Oregon. It's got different types of housing, two malls, a K-8 school followed by a single high school located in the eastern part of the town. City hall rests right in the middle of the strange place, where a rather quirky mayor sits though no one knows where he is from or how long he has been there. Upon arriving the confused and bewildered citizen is set up in housing of their choice, given the basics, and told to make a life in this new strange town. This is a pan-fandom AND original character community. |

Anybody up for a little supernatual fun? Without the crazy, undefined, confusing roles--Anathema Prep is just for you.
The game runs on real time, so any pop culture from NOW will apply. It's all teens, so there won't be 250 vampires running around. And with the roles of the races well defined, it's hard NOT to understand what's going on.
"The setting is realtime although it is obviously AU. All references to modern pop culture will be relevant.
Anathema Prep is a high school for the recently turned Vampires and Weres, and Witches and Humans of the appropriate age. Turned is used here as a human who has been scratched/bitten or otherwise changed in any other way so that they are now genetically described as either a Vampire [the traditionally undead] or as a Werecreature. All characters and students of Anathema Prep will be of teenage mind and body. That means there will be no 150 year old high school students running around, for example.
The twist to Anathema Prep is that in addition to its Supernatural background, there are premade confessions for each character."
Since it's a PB game, they're running off of secrets. The more people that join, the less secrets there are so HURRY and make sure you get the one you want!
Applications aren't being taken until they have 15-20 holds. They need more GUYS for the obvious ten thousand girls that games get in the first few days or so, but if everyone trades storylines, it's worth it, right?

 It's been just over a thousand years since the Witches Council called upon all the witches to bind their ancestors, the Sidhe, who were once their Gods into their bones, binding them to human form - restricting their powers. Not all the Witches agreed, they knew that betraying those who they drew their power from could never end well. The majority ruled, however. As it often does, and the Witches drew together their power and cast down the mighty warriors that were the Sidhe. Cast out of Faerie but unable to die or use their full powers, they were furious. But they knew full well they could bide their time. Generations of Witches have passed them by, just like they planned. Now many Witches have forgotten the power of the old ones, their ancestors. Now they plan to strike back. The Witches Council has heard the whispers in the dark of the fey, the threats. They feel the power growing again and they don't know what to do it. Rebel witches are encouraging it, trying to block the council at every turn, the rest of the witches are afraid, trying, desperately for a solution. Europe may not survive the wraith of the fey if they gain their powers back. The fey feel their time has come.
