Is there something faster than this? Our ways of communicating at home were mostly by letter. A few magic options if the messenger were capable.

Not here, I don't think, unless everyone could use magic. There'd be faster ways if everything wasn't so run down. The network isn't the most practical when it requires everyone to frequently check it. Or have someone checking it for them. But it's our current best option.

I've know witches can communicate through their minds. No talisman. I don't know the spell, but Nick might. I can get him to teach it to me.

I became use to it pretty quickly just before I landed here. There are some other witches who also have psychic capabilities similar to mine. We had a continuous psychic connection happening for a while why we were dealing with some threats.

I'm an only child. They're part of the same coven as I am. I'm new to it, but having the connection was necessary.
