My thoughts are as follows:
- Slip out, check over Monmouth and see if you're able to pick the lock.
- If yes: Explore Monmouth and if my things are there, post-it off items of what to keep and what to get rid of.
- If no: Move onto next item on list and we'll rope Ronan in later. Or a locksmith
- Pool our money for a gift for Henry and begin planning things for tomorrow. I've done a little gentle questioning and I think the Nintendo Switch is our best bet. Handheld, no worry of taking over a TV and he seemed excited over some of the games? Do you have any other suggestions? Because I am virtually useless on this topic.
- Following that, order cake (note: NO cookie cake - something nerdy? flavor suggestions?). Plan out when & where.
- If Monmouth is furnished, there? Good for something quiet, we can set up the video games and have privacy.
- Other city options include: Laser Tag, iFly, arcade?
- Fondue for dinner tomorrow? Explore and look at options in the city.
- Book what we need to, make needed reservations & purchase decorations.
- Bring breakfast & coffee back to The Barns? Good excuse as to why we were out.
Good morning. I know we've been gathering research and putting together a welcome packet on what we've all learned, but I have a more personal request that I thought I would put into the open air to see where it lands. There is a great deal of varying magic that is floating around Vallo, with exceptionally talented people and a variety of problem solving skills.
Backstory is this: I died when I was a child, on a ley line of magic. I was brought back, through the grace of an exceptional friend and the very ley magic I died upon. That very ley magic remade my heart, I suppose? That's likely the easiest way to put it. It's a heart made of ley magic mirrors.
Blue has always had the skill of amplifying magic. She was also told she was cursed to killing her "true love", should they kiss. Yes; it's antiquated & annoying. We're obviously not fond of it, as it's fit into place now that I am that very person. Yes; it's been tested, and does happen. The best we can tell is that her amplification is too much for a ley heart to handle and ... boom.
Obviously, the hope here is to be able to kiss without my death. Testing it is an obstacle, but we may have a backup for that, at the very least. There's no time limit on this, and it isn't something that needs to be rushed or taken care of immediately. But if anyone has any ideas, we are most open to suggestions?
Thank you for your time.
