It's a little early to be giving Christmas presents. Anyone else end up with a mysterious gift with no indication of who it's from? I don't really need a

BOYD'S EMPLOYEES.

I'm going to close the shop on Christmas Eve and keep it closed through Christmas Day. Boyd used to do this every year which I didn't understand until, even if there were jobs to be done, and I guess I don't want to break tradition even if it's not widely celebrated here as much as Solstice. Vallo can wait. Checks will be ready to pick up tomorrow and you'll be paid for the time lost for having the shop closed whether or not you were scheduled to work that day.

I'll handle whatever work was on Michael's plate for the rest of this week and redelegate when everyone comes back.

We have a lot of security measures at the Barns to prevent someone from breaking in, so if someone did sneak in to drop off a gift it had to be magic-based probably for everyone. Thanks, Sasha. Can you let me know if the rolling pin starts doing anything weird and Vallo-y?

I'm not concerned that it will, it seems incredibly normal to me, but I'll be certain to let you know!

Though if yours starts doing anything weird and Vallo-y, let me know? I work in research at the DOA now and should probably be made aware if any of these gifts decide to start attacking people.

Worst case scenario, yours has enough heft to it to throw it far away and quickly. Mine is too lightweight. But I'll let you know. Trying not to sound paranoid but I have to be a little suspicious of random gifts before using them.

Well, don't let your paranoia get the best of you and not let you enjoy this at all.

That is not the first time I have heard that, but I'll try.
