After seeing the intro video, I don't think this is the world for me. Would rather find a place on the belt and let the low-G stretch me out like taffy.

All the clean air is nice, though.

I was in the Bad Place, hoping to find the Good Place, and instead ended up here.

And what are those? Bad Place, Good Place? I've been in some bad places, maybe a few good ones.

The afterlife? Apparently heaven and hell aren't really things and you had to be a stoner to really get it while you were alive.

Not nearly as cool as space though. What's that like?

Oh. Scariest thing I've ever heard of, right there.

It's, you know. Space. Big, ships, space stations. People living on Mars and on settlements through the Asteroid Belt. Same shit as on earth, just in less gravity.

It actually wasn't that bad though that could be because I ended up in an experimental afterlife that didn't go according to plan.

People live on Mars now? Cool!

Do you get drunk faster in less gravity?

All that existing is the scary part.

Yeah, well where I'm from. Which I'm thinking might be in an alternate future. There's a big base out there, big technological military complex.

Asking the important questions. We don't but belters are lightweights. They grew up in low-g, they're real tall and skinny.

Alright fair. It's less scary when you know you've been there a while and they've reset your memory 800 times trying to make the experiment go right. Of course then we went in front of the judge and Michael had an idea and was going to do something and instead I wound up here in the middle of a blizzard.

There is an entire multiverse I never knew about. I just thought everyone here was dead like me.

I know what I'm about. I'd have to not live in the belt then.

Eleanor, by the way.

That's a lot. 800 times. Still have a memory left after all that?

Not dead, not yet. Judging by the date I won't even be born for a few hundred years. If it's even the same dimension.

No one wants to live in the belt, trust me.

Amos.

I do. Except how I died, but I've been told. Wish I could forget that.

Well that's weird.

Nice to meet you, Amos.

Don't think I'd ever want to know that either, even if it'd be pretty easy to guess.

Not much here that isn't weird.

You too, Eleanor.
