[GANGSEY]

My class ended early so I decided to take a walk while waiting for Adam and-- Um.

[OOC: Attached to the post are about 17 pictures of the Library of Alexandria from a dozen different outdoor vantage points and with varied clarity and blurriness to each one.]

You were there for fifteen minutes already? Gansey, go in. I'm not going to be the one to stop you. I'll be there in less than five There's supposed to be ancient And maybe see you inside? I don't even know where to start.

I can wait another five, I don't think it's going anywhere. Right now. We're going to get lost, you know.

I know. I still don't believe it's real? Do you think—I mean, we should map it for ourselves, right? There probably isn't a system in place, or there might be but one we don't know. We'd have to learn. And Dewey Decimal Classification didn't come into play until 1876 obviously, this is stupid, I'm just excited and

I should probably make sure I have nothing flammable on me.

You're naturally ~hot~. Guess you can't go in.

That's not how it works. But I appreciate the compliment. It's only going to be for a few days hours hour.

This is more of a time limit for me as it is to you. If I don't at least plan for a time to leave, I might not.

Two hours?

You know you can come in, too. There's definitely some cool shit that will interest you if Callimachus' Pinakes is still accurate.

Library cataloging is actually fascinating when it comes to Tempted, but you haven't yet. I promise that we will be responsible with our library time I think I'm going to have to learn ancient Greek anyway.

I'll just bring a cowbell too Do you want the language box? It's not as fun as learning an ancient language and holding that knowledge over other people's heads but it is faster.

Maybe until I learn ancient Greek so I can hold that knowledge over other people's heads. I might need to know that and Latin when arguing with someone in court.

Sexy. Maybe I can dream a new box just for the library. What other languages do you think it needs?

I'd heard it was separated into classifications but I don't know enough Greek and Egyptian to know theirs so coming up with our own personal way of figuring it out may be the best thing for our sanity.

No food or drink either. I have some hand sanitizer you can borrow.

My Greek is shitty lacking, but I could fumble through some until we got a better grip on it. There's also the puzzle box? Do you think they'll let us bring it in? I don't have time to go home to get it but

I ate a granola bar between my morning classes. I'll dump my water before I get there. This is not how I expected my day to go.

We can always ask or find out for the next time? This weekend? I know we both have to work for some of it but-- I'll make time, especially for this.

Maybe takeout tonight after. Skip cooking and eat a lot of Indian food while going over our notes?

This weekend. I have to be at Boyd's in the morning but I'm free in the afternoon. And Sunday I have to start drafting my paper, but I can do that there. I'm going to write a paper in the Library of Alexandria

There's a place right by Morningside we could pick up from before we take the waypoint back? Ronan says we have three hours.

I have two papers for the weekend but you're right - we can do that there. And also the middle of the nig There are people here already, do you think Vallo will impose a curfew on it? Darkness might help spare us from staying too long.

Perfect. The Pig can stay at Morningside.

I'm not sure. On one hand, it's a library, and most have hours of operation. On the other hand, it's the Library of Alexandria. If they are banning all open flames, and I doubt they would risk installing modern electricity at present, it might have dawn-until-dusk hours.

We'll ask. It just might mean we have to start going earlier in the mornings since the days are getting shorter. Is before class ridiculous or

What about heatless light globes that don't require batteries and can float or sit on a table? Like a portable LED.
