For once; just once, would it really be so hard to let me come through one of these portals or doorways or mystical windowsills while having a laundry basket or something along those lines in my arms? It wasn’t the ocean, thank god, but branches and thorns tear up fabric and ruin it just as well.

I'm not sure the magic here is a good judge of that. It brought our whole college ice rink, when there are like 50 people here who even know what hockey is.

That was mostly a joke about how strange his place is (and how the team we're putting together is half full of people who've never strapped on skates before) but you're not wrong. I hope the ice skaters get good use of it.
