Erica Reyes & Stiles Stilinski 06•06•20 | 10:00 pm Vallo City TBD | In Progress Erica wanders around the new place she's found herself in Erica is a warning all on her own
When Erica first arrived, she'd been in a bad position. Fresh off of a knock-down-drag-out with Kali from the Alpha Pack (seriously, who let's their feet look like THAT?!), damn near death because Alpha wounds don't heal like regular wounds, confused, frightened, angry (she was always angry, honestly) and wondering what the fuck just happened. One moment she'd been on the vault floor, bleeding out, the next, she was staring up at trees outside.
She still didn't know how she got here. She didn't know how she managed to hold on long enough for someone to find her. Didn't know how she lasted through the trek to getting where ever the hell it was the person brought her. That "not knowing" sat about as well with Erica as her epilepsy always had; not well.
But she was Erica fucking Reyes, damn it. She lived through Epilepsy. She lived through being a pariah. She lived through someone posting a video online of her having a seizure and the subsequent wetting of her pants, she lived through being bitten and turning into a werewolf, and she lived through psychotic Argents.
She'd be damned if she let a bitch in need of a pedicure be the one to put her down.
So she'd pulled through out of sheer spite, if nothing else. The blonde sometimes thought she ran on nothing more than that. And once she'd pulled through, she'd been informed of where she was going to live and some possible jobs she could take. With that information on hand, as well as the money they'd given her to start off with, she'd set about figuring her shit out.
Her home had been the first to set up. After that, she'd found herself at Panorama Diner, where she'd been hired as a waitress to take the place of one that had just departed. She bought the essentials she needed, enrolled in classes in order to get her GED, and then proceeded to keep a low profile. Better to figure out her own issues and how to solve them first before she started trying to figure out this place and the little quirks it could offer her... as well as the curiosities that could cause trouble.
It was almost hard to believe that it had only been two days ago that she'd arrived here, broken and bleeding and still lashing out (rather pathetically). In that short span of time, however, she'd managed to get a bit of cabin fever.
Having always loved being outside more than inside, Erica decided that it might be a good idea to get some kind of look at the city around her. While most people would argue that it would be better in the daylight, Erica wanted to see it in the moonlight. She wanted to see what the nights had in store for her while she was here. However long that might be.
Which is how Erica found herself putting one foot in front of the other, taking in the sights that were offered up, observing the people, and listening to the music of the first city she'd lived in other than Beacon Hills, California.
