Blinking, the surprise on Erica's face was evident, but the only thing that came out of her mouth was a disinterested "Huh... the more you know..."
Rolling her eyes in amusement at his reaction to her leering, Erica did as asked, but only because she was teasing him. Still, there was a lot of information to go over, apparently, because what he just told her kind of worried her more than she should be letting on.
"What do you mean Derek isn't an Alpha anymore? How does that even happen?" She could remember the time at the railcars when they were getting ready for their first full moon, the conversation that he had with the three of them.
Any wolf could fall or rise... even an Alpha. But for Derek to fall, that had to take something big and Erica wasn't certain that she wanted to know what that was.
Then there was the whole time lapse thing. She and this Cora person were from earlier in Stiles' life. But for her, at least, she'd just seen Stiles put down by Gerard not too long ago. She looked down, trying to remember something she'd watched before.
"Life's in the loom..." she murmured, blinking as she looked back up at him, curiously. "So this is kind of like that Twilight Zone episode where the old guy ends up running into himself as a kid? Wouldn't that create some sort of paradox though?"
Let it never be said that Erica Reyes was stupid. She enjoyed a good mixed metaphor, she loved movies and television of all kinds now that she could enjoy it, but she'd started out as a lonely kid with no friends who studied hard in order to try to make it out of Beacon Hills.
