For those keeping track, this odd switching of alternate selves does indeed seem to be temporary as I have been informed that my bruised face is due to having been a different version of myself for several days.

It seems to have only been a couple of days for myself, so I am sure it will be similar for you. Our general understanding from when people have left and returned is that no time truly passes for us back home and our absences are not noticed, so hopefully you will not have any repercussions.

That would be preferred. However there are also not a lot of teachers in Blumenthal so they would potentially be left with no choice but to keep me around.
