What is the best kind of candy to buy so that trick or treaters like your house better than the neighbor's?

Are holidays really this competitive?

So that sounds a lot more complicated than what I figured trick or treating entailed. I mean I didn't figure on being off putting while handing out candy or anything, I just want to contribute to the kids having a good night.

Nah, it's not! Just like, comment on what they're wearing, whatever! Honestly, if you're trying to be friendly, you probably are. :)

Not something we had back home but I enjoy that it makes the children happy. Hard not to clean the bowl out sometimes myself though.
