Okay so maybe these are really obviously and dumb questions, but how do people pick majors? How do you decide what you want to do with the rest of your life? And how do you do that here? With all the inpredictability, how do you figure that out in Vallo? How do you plan for that?

Kind of related, is anyone hiring? I think maybe a gap summer or something might help. Or it won't. Maybe I'm just destined to be Maybe. Why does no one tell you being an adult is so hard? Or am I just really bad at everything? Can't con Can't hurt, right?

At least there's options. I think I fall into the former more than the latter but the latter's good, too. I guess one is more general personally and the other is not bad at but not sure if that's where the future lies. But maybe it does. Maybe I'll get the urge to do bio healing somehow. Like a doctor but magic and 100% just something that popped in my head randomly.

In my experience most people who start college not sure what they want usually find inspiration after a year or so of taking classes and talking with people.

Though healing of any kind is always good. I've been to medical school, it's not for everyone but it is ultimately very rewarding.

Yeah talking can help.

Are you a doctor?

Just living helps honestly. Something could inspire you.

I'm not, at least not for a long time.

I guess it could.

Why not? Did you get bored of it?

Not bored so much as things have changed quite a bit since I went. I just haven't had the time to go back to learn some of the new techniques, but the basics never really change. I can still help in an emergency situation if needed.

That makes sense. Some things are always changing. And some things are the same, like stop the bleeding, organs go on the inside, etc.

Medicine is one of those fields that is constantly advancing, which is a very good thing. Terrifying sometimes, but still very good.

At least it’s never really boring if it’s always advancing.
