I think that the only thing about this place that I don't like, other than missing my mom, is having to rethink all my plans for the future. I was going to go to college for architecture and maybe start my own firm. I'm still going to go to college. I just don't know what I'll do after. I had such a firm plan in place that this is still weird.

I miss my mom. I know that's sad and pathetic but she was so good at helping me figure out a plan.

I think that's all we can really do for our mothers, or anyone in our lives that we care about. I'm sure she's very proud of you.

I hope so. That's really all I've ever wanted to do. To make her proud.

I don't know your mom, but I know from my own experience that so long as my kids just try to find their own happiness, whatever that might be, I'll be very proud of them.
