My sense of direction has been questionable at times, but I didn't think it was possible to have landed so far off from my intended destination. Fortunately, I did not have to wander too long before I was greeted by a delightful young man who informed me of the situation I find myself in and even helped me find lodgings for the foreseeable future.

This place seems as good as any for a fresh start.

We are. What I've gathered from being here is that people can come from different points of time. I don't know how. It doesn't make sense to me, but I know I was in San Francisco when I was pulled into this place.

This isn't just a different point in time, Louis. It sounds like a completely different time. I was just in the mid 1980s, and we were together before the concert, and during the aftermath of what I helped was unleashed by the music.

IN retrospect? You might have been right, but you were too late. By the time you got there she was already awake and coming to find me.

It honestly hasn't been all that long for me either, Louis. I slept through a lot of it though. After everything that happened I just needed a break from the world.

She was my child too, Louis.

I did exactly what she wanted me to do. Just like you would have if she had taken you. It was impossible to refuse her. She killed so many people...so many vampires. Just so much death.
