Mimosas crew

Idk about anyone else's week but mine was a lot better when it started with a mimosa brunch. Anyone else up for making it a weekly occurrence? Probably at different locations.

That's definitely a new one for me. Especially that you sense them as colors and taste. I kind of want to know what your favorite sense is but also that seems more annoying than just basic telepathy. You can shut out people's minds but is it possible shut out others emotions?

Vorerra would probably love to get their hands on you.

To answer your question, lust. But that’s true for most people.

And no, I can’t turn it off, although it doesn’t function over the network, or in writing, or even a phone call. I do use my abilities as I see fit. But the largest swath of human emotion is dull as dishwater. Vallo is good for novelty, at least.

Idk why I thought it'd be something more substantial than that one.

It’s like caramel and melted wax from a candle recently snuffed out. And it’s one of the few emotions that lacks sharp edges. Well. Mostly.

I don’t bother to manipulate that emotion, if you were worried about having another Aiden in your acquaintance. False desire tastes like it should be sold under a cheap brand, like Tesco or Costco.

That does sound... nice doesn't really work as an accurate descriptor. I never thought emotions could have edges, but it does make sense.

I wasn't, but definitely good to know. It feels like having the fake version would be off-putting when you can taste the difference so intimately.

It isn’t the same for you? Your persuasive abilities? I’ve been using mine my whole life; when I was a child I didn’t realize I was doing so, to get my way.

My persuasive ones didn't kick in until I was sixteen. My dad and Allison helped me with them here.

Did your parents help you with yours?

Still astounds me your father is a Lucifer.

They generally preferred to pretend that it wasn't happening. It was intuitive; I required no help.

The one here is lightyears better than the one I'm used to.

Ah, yes. The good old ignoring instead of parenting.
