I have spoken with several of you now but had not introduced myself here.

Lan Mandragoran. I am not used to settling in one place for any long amount of time, but the potential to stay here for months, if not years, so I believe settling might be inevitable. I am a Warder in our world, to Moiraine Sedai, who arrived shortly after I did; if I may be of use to your defense teams, I will put my skills to their use.

May I ask how many of you had to adjust to all of this technology? I still find the phone unwieldy and temperamental.

	I don't know. They could lie to give people comfort in that, to make them less likely to search for a way home. Or it could be the truth shared from others that have come and gone before. I hope that it is true, though I think Egwene could take on the whole of the White Tower if she put her mind to it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I mistrust most people until I have a reason not to. That said, I can't see a motive for bringing us here and lying to keep us here. And believe me, I've been looking for one. 	There doesn't seem to be a constant looming threat of the Dark here. I suppose that would breed people less watchful. Yes, that is one thing we have in common. It's part of why I thought she'd make a good Wisdom. You can't protect a village if you let people push you around just because you're young. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Magic is full of opportunities for things to go wrong. ~~I don't know what I'm going to do now that I~~ That's what I kept trying to explain to the Village Council. I was barely old enough to braid my hair when they made me Wisdom, so it was a constant fight. (Reply to this) (Parent)
