I have spoken with several of you now but had not introduced myself here.

Lan Mandragoran. I am not used to settling in one place for any long amount of time, but the potential to stay here for months, if not years, so I believe settling might be inevitable. I am a Warder in our world, to Moiraine Sedai, who arrived shortly after I did; if I may be of use to your defense teams, I will put my skills to their use.

May I ask how many of you had to adjust to all of this technology? I still find the phone unwieldy and temperamental.

I didn't get to post about this earlier, but given the bad weather of yesterday and having to reschedule it, I got a second chance! Enki Coven will be hosting a kite festival on the grounds of MageNet in honor of Uttarayan on the 21st that is open to all. There will be a fair, bonfire, a feast, and, of course, kite fighting (as well as kite flying for those of you that don't want to cut up your fingers). There will be the opportunity to bathe in the Yamuna river (it will be COLD) for those that want to go full in on tradition.

Also with Lunar New Year coming up, Enki Coven will be hosting an open event on the grounds of MageNet on the 1st of February. There will be traditional foods offered from various traditions (dumplings, Buddha's Delight, mandarin oranges to name a few!) and we will be lighting a moon house on fire. You will have the opportunity to add wishes to it before the lighting ceremony!

Prayer sessions will be held earlier in the day during both events, that people are welcome to join or witness.

I guess if you don't know me well enough yet the guess probably isn't very easy, so I'll just say that my dog Stella is here! I wonder if that means both she and I are completely disappeared from Texas then? If Stella is all that Fabian had left of- Okay, don't go down that spiral of feel-

Hopefully, any future roommates won't mind having her around!

Hello, Vallo. Is this working? If not, I suppose I'll only embarrass myself. My name is Nikolai, and I found myself in your... country? empire? commonwealth? utopia? what is Vallo? I found myself here last night. Quite unexpectedly. Everyone keeps telling me I can't elect to go back, which sounds threatening on the surface, but as far as kidnapping goes this is very laid back, so thank you for that at least. I was told I'd need a job. Disappointing, as I was rather hoping I might be someone's kept man. I'm very decorative.
