Do belongings that you know were left behind at home whenever this universe jumping occurred frequently just show up on one's nightstand when you're out or is this something I ought to be more concerned with? Do I need to invest in more silver wire?

It's a thing that happens sometimes. Items, pets, sometimes places just... turn up. Almost as if someone or something wants us all to be Content. Whether that's comforting or deeply worrying I leave to your own judgement.

What's the silver wire for, if I might ask?

I can't help but be suspicious of anything that simply wants us to be Content without asking for anything in return. Aside from our being torn from our own homes, that is.

It's a component used in a spell to set an alarm.

Oh good. You're one of the sensible ones.

That's fascinating. There are so many of us here with different methods of working magic.

Being sensible is something I at least attempt to strive for.

I am used to there being different types of magic users where I am from, some of which are able to use a casting focus rather than components, but I have always preferred the latter. There is a beauty to it that I can't really explain, as well as an added amount of control.

Sometimes whole buildings show up! Which is crazy, right? How's Malla?? Is she SO good?? :)))))))))))))

Whole buildings, really? That is, indeed, crazy sounding, but I don't doubt you. Malla is doing really well. She's currently dozing.

Yeah! And, what's even weirder? They're hooked up to the power and water supply! I don't understand it, but I think some things we're just not supposed to and that's okay. Did you get something nice, at least?

Awwwwwwwwwwwww, I'm glad!!! :))))))) Does she sleep upside down??

That's rather intriguing. I suppose it being magic would be the best explanation, though that raises more questions in my mind. But yes, it was good. It's a book from home.

She does. She found a good place to hang from the ceiling in my room almost as soon as I brought her here.

So some of our things show up sometimes? That's comforting.

It would appear to be the case, yes. It was an unexpected discovery.

My book. I am not complaining, of course. Well, aside from the money lost in my working on the new book, but it's clear that I ought to have a back up.

"Useless" seems hardly an accurate descriptor for you.

Indeed they do - though not always a nightstand. My car arrived shortly after my own arrival, by a few weeks, just parked outside of the apartment complex.

I suppose not everything would be welcome on a nightstand, then.

My mom's knife. It's been gone - destroyed - for years and years now. So that was weird.

That would be rather odd, if it is something that hasn't even existed for you for so long.

It was pretty weird, but don't get me wrong, I'm not questioning it too much. Sometimes Gods work in mysterious ways.

Happens all the time. Though the things I know of have been too large to fit in or on nightstands.

Depends on if you maybe have something big from home that you're attached to. Or something that is attached to you? Like a house or a car or a horse?

Honestly, I have no idea how it works, only that it does.
