First week in a public High School, and it was a short week. But I learned some interesting things, mostly to do with teenage behavior. My Psychology degree is actually proving useful for once. I still think it is a pack dog mentality that rules the cliques.

The text books are all vastly out of date and many of the history lessons are lacking in context and heavily censored. I got into an argument with my history teacher on Wednesday over the lack of criticism of the side-effects of westward expansion.

And the science...the "science" they teach is a crime.

On a positive note, I made several friends, and Beth has shown me around.

I also am learning what words such as 'shiznet' mean.

What sort of tests. The science they teach even at a basic college level is rudimentary.

Genetic experiments. I worked for Armachen before they were revealed for who they were.

I am familiar with their work, but had no direct hand in their projects or test studies. Gene manipulation, I'd imagine, adding and subtracting to DNA? You are still too young to have been directly involved yourself, unless you were a test subject.

Oooo. That must be why you are so reticent to talk further or agree to being a test subject, presently.

I did some of that work myself. But you may or may not be right on some of that.

How interesting. If you would ever like employment as a lab assistant and are not squeamish, then contact me. When you are done with your sociology study of modern teenagers in the American school system.
