Has anyone watched that Crime Scene series on Netflix? The one about the Cecil Hotel? Watched it the other night with Eliot and Margo and it is so bloody fucking creepy! There is so much about that case that just doesn't make sense. Yes, it makes sense in the long run, but it still doesn't make sense. I still have so many questions

It absolutely makes sense that it was one of the inspirations for the Hotel season of American Horror Story.

You couldn't pay me enough to go there. I also wouldn't advise going there either.

I could understand not putting her in the series out of respect to her family.

Oh, I'd only go if I wasn't alone. However both my husband and my best friend would tell me hell no. Kind of puts a stop in that plan.

I guess I was expecting it because of all the real life things he puts into the series, but yeah. Maybe the difference there is that it was just too recent.

I think they have the right idea.

A lot of those other real life things happened a long time ago so it's easier to include them without worrying about family.

That's true. I mean the most recent one was, what? The Night Stalker? And I don't think any of his family would care about anything said about him. And Ryan didn't really name any of his victims.

I don't know, but considering it's closed, it would be trespassing, if you did go there. And god knows what sorts of people might be squatting there.

I didn't know that it was closed, but honestly you underestimate how many people go into closed buildings to look around. I actually follow a few urban exploration youtubers.

Although good point about people that might be squatting there.
