In my opinion, there are few things more beautiful than seeing stars being born. This is a lovely photograph of it, though nothing beats seeing it with your own two eyes. I think I need to take a trip to see this.

Not necessarily. I have a spaceship that can also travel through time. I can get there whenever I want to and not miss a single thing.

You have a time travelling spaceship?

I'd say I've now heard everything but something tells me that's not even remotely true.

That depends entirely on what you choose to believe. My TARDIS is indeed real. I can travel anywhere in time and space. But I suppose if you have not caught the dreaming epidemic that's here, you would not quite understand.

I'm acquainted with the whole dream thing. So you've decided to use this time travelling space ship for things like watching some star being born nearly 3000 years ago instead of world peace or something?

I do both, actually. I've defended the Earth from multiple invasions in my dreams. I like seeing the universe and discovering new species and planets and stars. Not all of them are friendly. But world peace, that I cannot do. There are things that I cannot change or tamper with because it will cause time to fracture and everything will breakdown and the universe will end. I've done that, it wasn't a pleasant experience, so I try to only poke the things that I can change. Mostly.

That sounds... way more complicated than I'd be interested in. How are you supposed to know what you can and cannot change?

Glad the spaceships in my dreams can't travel through time. ... or space for that matter.

It's part of being a Time Lord. I can see all of time and intrinsically know what can and cannot be changed. It's a burden more often than not, such as when I was in Pompeii the day the volcano erupted and buried it.

Believe me, the universe is a far simpler place when various races cannot travel amongst the stars.

That job sounds like it sucks.

No doubt. Things are complicated enough with just humans.

It does from time to time, yes.

Indeed they are. And humans in my dreams tend to create plenty of problems once they start traveling the universe and meet other cultures and species. It can be a rather chaotic chain of events.

Yeah. Speaking of things that suck, humans are right up there. Can't take them anywhere without them killing each other.
